A newly-built detached Cornish holiday home, 10-minutes walk from the wonderful surfing and family beach town of Perranporth (with the UK's only beach bar, The Watering Hole!), perfect for families or two couples. Lovely private garden and patio, 2-car off-street parking, en-suite master bedroom. There's plenty of local shops, restaurants, cafe's and bars, a large co-op, and ice cream-a-plenty! Miles of gorgeous coastal walking too. 13 miles from Newquay airport, 9.5 miles from Truro station The space A spacious, fresh and airy modern house overlooking Perranporth village to the sand dunes, Luskentyre is bright and sunny with a patio and lovely grassed rear garden. There is an outdoor shower for all your post-beach washing down, and plenty of places to sit and catch some sunshine during the day. There will be a small welcome pack waiting for you on arrival, including wine, beer, crisps and chocolates! The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The washing machine, tumble drier and microwave are in the attached utility. The calm and peaceful lounge is furnished with a large sofa and a smaller double sofa bed perfect for 2 children or 1 adult to sleep on (or 2 cosy adults!), coffee table, TV and Blu Ray player, books and games. A piano in the room is not available for guest's use. Bedroom one is furnished with a super-king sized bed (6ft), and has an en-suite shower room. Bedroom two can either be set up as two small single beds (2ft 6ins) or a zip-linked king sized bed, and has views of the sand dunes. The family bathroom comprises a shower over the bath tub. The house offers plenty of storage space including an under-stairs triple shoe rack and a walk-in cloakroom. There is a small shed in the garden with lots of beach kit to save you boot space in the car. There are 2 wooden belly boards, a windbreak, a big buckets for rinsing wetsuits, 2 sun loungers, two extra fold out dining chairs, two fold-away beach chairs, a BBQ, a frisbee, a rugby ball, a football, buckets and spades and a wetsuit drying rack. There is also an outdoor tap to wash things down after the beach as well as a heated outdoor shower for extra comfort when washing away the sun and sand! Luskentyre is a very comfortable and attractive home with Wifi. There is also a short cut lane to walk down to the end of the village and the beach which takes approximately 10 minutes. Guest access The entire house is available to guests, although two rooms upstairs are locked and not for guest use. Children under 2 are welcome, but you would need to bring everything to cater for little ones - we don't provide baby gates, high chairs etc. You would also need to clear a few things out of reach of those little hands. Other things to note Access to the house is through a key-safe attached to the side of the house, down the driveway near the garden gate. We will provide you with a code prior to arrival.
