Casa at Karr Place

Please note- the decor has been updated but bed, couch, chair and table are still there. Brand new house- ground floor suite is entirely for guest. Beautiful view of the Alex Fraser bridge from the Hottub. Sits in a cul-de-sac on the top of a hill in a nice neighbourhood. There is a kids park a 5 min walk away, pub and liquor store down the road, and Burns bog boardwalk (beautiful forested park) accessible and within walking distance from the house. The space Entire suite, backyard with play set, hot tub, & outdoor seating area is available to guests. Coffee (very important!) is in the form of French press or pour over. Guest access When you walk around the back of the house to the suite please make sure you walk to the second door (glass door with key pad). The first door enters our garage and some guests get confused as it has a keypad as well. Please refer to photos. When you exit, press the blue “exit” button on the left wall beside the door. When it turns green pull the door handle and it will open. Don’t fool around with the small dial on the door handle. More details will be provided at check in but once you see the button it will make sense. The backyard is shared and we do have a cat and dog- the dog stays locked up on the upper deck area. Other things to note Parking: You may park dirrectly in front of the house, to the left of the driveway. There is a spot right in front of a water fountain. Visitors: please no visitors after 10pm and be courteous as we have children who sleep early. We cannot accommodate parties or groups. Location: Follow the “b” and arrow around to the back of the house- 2nd door with large window near the deck- the first door is our garage. Exiting house: When you leave the house, just make sure you use the “exit button” to the left of the door and don’t play around with the small dial on the door handle. That way the door stays locked each time you walk out. End of stay: please strip the bed and make sure there is no garbage on the floor. Thank you! Tv: we provide Apple TV but do not have a Netflix account for you. You must have your own to enter into the console in order to watch shows. Bathroom fan: The bathroom fan is on the outside of the door- just don’t hit the furnace button by accident please (both are labeled). Toilet: only poo, pee and toilet paper should be flushed - please ONLY FLUSH Toilet paper. And never any other type of paper or articles. The home is brand new and we appreciate you contacting us with any issues as opposed to fixing them yourself. Hottub: The Hottub is ready for use. It is shared with the household and we ask that you don’t go in after 10 pm. Laundry: One load per stay is appreciated unless you are staying longer than a few days. Sofa bed: If you pull up the cover on the bottom of the sofa you will find a handle. Pull the handle and the sofa will fold into a bed. There are extra sheets, pillows, and a blanket in the bedroom closet which can be used for the sofa.
