Chez Merlet Guest House - countryside retreat

Relax & unwind at this peaceful retreat in the French countryside. Perfect for family getaways or romantic escapes. Enjoy the entire self-contained guest house spread over 2 floors, with private bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, WiFi & TV. We are dog friendly (1 dog maximum €20 per stay, no cats). Explore beautiful local villages, walks, swimming at the river beaches, kayaking, boules, tennis & horse riding, all close by. Or simply enjoy a BBQ & glass of wine at home in the quiet garden. The space Guest house is separate and private, with its own entrance. The main house is situated onsite next to the guesthouse where the host lives permanently. The garden is shared but very spacious and quiet. Guest house includes ground floor living / kitchen area (pull out double sofa bed located here), with small stairs leading up to double bedroom and bathroom/toilet on the upper floor. Guest access There is private parking on the driveway next to the guest house - 1 car maximum. Other things to note The host lives in the separate main house onsite; available for check in and to assist if there are any questions. Please inform the host prior to arrival if your booking includes any children, babies or pets to help us prepare for your stay.
