Samsara By The River is a luxury riverside homestay in Coorg set on two acres overlooking the Cauvery. With two elegant bedrooms, spacious living areas, and peaceful outdoor spaces, it offers a serene escape close to Kushalnagar and the famous Namdroling Monastery. Run by a mother-and-daughter duo, this women-led homestay offers warm hospitality and a safe, welcoming stay for all guests. The space The house is spacious, airy, and set within a beautifully landscaped two-acre property filled with fruit and flowering trees. At the back, the home overlooks the tranquil River Cauvery, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Both bedrooms feature comfortable king-size beds, while the rooms and attached bathrooms are generously sized for a comfortable stay. Guests also have access to ample parking within the property. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are shared communal spaces where guests can relax and interact with the hosts. The property is very safe and secure, with the caretaker’s family residing in an outhouse near the main entrance. For added security, the exterior areas of the property are monitored by CCTV cameras. Guest access Both bedrooms are spacious, thoughtfully designed, and feature king-size beds with private en suite bathrooms for maximum comfort and privacy. The rest of the house, including the living, dining, and kitchen areas, are shared with the hosts, who reside in the other two bedrooms within the home. The hosts have their own private entrances, ensuring guests can enjoy both privacy and a relaxed villa experience. During your stay My mother and I live on the property and personally look after our guests to ensure a warm and comfortable stay. We will be there to welcome you and serve breakfast each morning. Beyond that, the villa is yours to enjoy in complete privacy. We are always available on call should you need any assistance, recommendations, or local information during your stay. Other things to note The caretaker and her children reside in an outhouse within the property, ensuring the villa remains safe and well looked after at all times. We also have two gentle and friendly dogs who stay exclusively outdoors and are part of the home’s warm and welcoming atmosphere. A complimentary breakfast is included with your stay, and one additional home-cooked meal can be arranged at an extra charge upon request. The spacious bedrooms can comfortably accommodate one additional guest, and an extra mattress can be provided for an additional fee. Please note that we do not provide accommodation for drivers; however, a toilet facility is available next to the garage for their convenience.
