The Hollies sets a new standard for luxury holidays. The lodge is served by mains electricity, spring water and offers fully equipped accommodation. The separate shower room is fully fitted with a toilet, wash basin, shower & heated towel rail. The kitchen is fitted with integrated appliances including a fridge and a microwave. With its contemporary design and unparalleled thermal efficiency, the Hollies, offers you an unforgettable holiday experience in a truly special location. 2+2 The space This cosy open plan lodge is idyllically located in the middle of a hill farm which straddles the English / Welsh Border and the farmland joins the foothills of the Black Mountains and Hay Bluff which gives stunning views of the surrounding countryside.There is ample private parking, woodland with a stream running through and plenty of open space. There are spectacular views towards Hay Bluff to the rear and open countryside in front. Brecon Beacons National Park, Offas Dyke and the National Bridleway / Cycleway are all a stones throw away. Not enough space, why not also book with The Hazels (sleeps 2) and enjoy a getaway with another couple but each have your own pricate space or The Birches Cottage (sleeps 8) which are 100m away but where guests can have their own space. Guest access The lodge is located in Herefordshire a stones throw from the Welsh border, there are plenty of footpaths from the front door and streams, woodlands and dingles to explore. Why not enjoy walk from England into Wales and explore the Black Mountains all a short amble from the cottage. The lodge is accessed by a single track public road and it enjoys no neighbours so you will truly enjoy an undisturbed break. You will be able to enjoy the entire property, decking and woodland expanse to yourselves. (Please see note in 'the space' re the Hazels and the Birches) Other things to note There are no close neighbours to disturb you and the country road is very quiet so you can enjoy the lodge undisturbed. There are sensor lights outside where you park for arrival and departure after dark but no other street lights so its perfect for star gazing on a clear inght. Please bring a torch for the short walk to you cabin as we limited light pollution so you can enjoy the stars. The lodge sleeps 2+2 with a permanent double and also a double sofa bed in the living area.
