Built in 2019, it includes an open concept layout, plenty of light, laundry in-house, large southern-facing deck with furniture, hot tub, and fire pit! This home is host to 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, comfortably sleeping 8 guests at a time! Sleep peacefully on a king bed in the master with a full bath,, queen bed in bedroom 2, two bunk beds in bedroom 3 and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. A pack-n-play, high chair, bouncer, and bumbo seat are available for our youngest of guests. There is a collection of toys and games for them too! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for your stay including a fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, French press, coffee maker, tea kettle, dishes, pots & pans, glassware, silverware, and serving utensils. The house is also equipped with heating and central air. Starlink Satellite Internet, Tesla charger. The living room is equipped with a retro turntable, amplifier and speakers. Bring your favorite vinyl! Parking on-site for up to 4 cars. Tesla charger on-site Anderson Island is the southern-most island in the Puget Sound. There’s WAY too much history to dive into here, but we have a book at the house if you love that stuff as much as we do. The Anderson Island General Store provides groceries, deli, beverages, ice cream treats, pet supplies, fishing supplies, fuel, and hardware. The Anderson Island Cafe is known as the island gathering place. It is open daily for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is served on Monday, Fridays, and Saturdays. The cafe serves fresh home-baked bread, pastries, and desserts. We recommend stopping for a hot latte or an iced coffee There's also the Lakeshore Restaurant which serves a nice variety of food and their newly renovated space looks GREAT!! Enjoy an afternoon beverage on their deck while gazing over Lake Josephine or head inside for some great grub! Anderson Island has three freshwater lakes: Josephine, Florence, and Pine Lakes. Fishing is allowed on all three lakes and is typically stocked during the spring and summer. Lake Florence is motor-friendly for water sports. The Ol’ Swimming Hole on Lake Florence has two slides, a floating dock and jumping tower for the big kids, and a smaller area for the little kiddos. There are also picnic tables and a sand volleyball court. It’s the perfect spot to spend a day in the sun. Lake Josephine is perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding. Kayaks and paddleboards are located in the garage for guest use. Please return the kayaks and paddleboards or additional charges will apply. We find that it’s easiest to hop in the car and get anywhere on the island within 5 minutes. If you bring bicycles, that helps too! Most everything could be walkable for you though too! We also offer rental of bird scooters for an additional fee. Please Note: Your booking does NOT include ferry fees. You’ll park at the Steilacoom ferry terminal in 1 of the 3 lines to board the ferry.
