The space This charming carriage house was built in 1926. It is an ideal retreat after a day of exploring beautiful, historic South Tampa or any of the many attractions the Tampa Bay area has to offer. Hyde Park is an historic district set in a lively urban and vibrant environment. The space itself has been tastefully restored and has all of the modern features and amenities expected with upper scale accommodations including: - High-Speed Wi Fi - Fios TV with expanded channel line-up - 40" Vizio LCD Smart HDTV in the living room - 32" Vizio LCD Smart HDTV in the bedroom - Fully equipped kitchen - Fully furnished living room, dining area, bedroom, and work space - LG Washer and dryer in the unit - Hardwood floors and ceramic tile throughout - Claw foot tub/shower - Central Heat & Air - Ceiling fans - An air mattress upon request - An abundance of natural light - Nestled amongst mature live oak trees Best of all, it is located in the heart of Tampa's historic Hyde Park district! CLEANING STANDARDS AND SAFETY MEASURES: A few things we thought you would like to know for your added comfort & peace of mind... -We want you to know that we block off a minimum of five days between guests and always have. This allows our maids one day to clean and another day for me to clean all soft surfaces, then three additional days where no one is permitted in the apartment. Everyone who enters the apartment prior to your stay is required to wear masks and gloves. -Your sheets, mattress pad, pillow cases, and pillow protectors are washed twice…The first time with bleach for sanitation and then washed again to remove any trace of the "bleach smell”… Your pillow cases have also been ironed with a light, natural starch for crispness and comfort… Under everything, the mattress and pillows are fully encased in waterproof, hypoallergenic zippered covers. -Your towels are washed twice as well, using the same method as your sheets. This is done even if extra towels were not used by the previous guest as we want everything you use to be sanitized and fresh… -Frequently touched surface such as door handles, light switches and remote controls are sanitized. -Your toilet, tub and sink are cleaned and sanitized. -All couches and chairs are leather or faux leather and they are cleaned prior to your arrival… -Your ice tray is removed, emptied and washed in the dishwasher before being returned to the freezer to make fresh ice for you… -All plates, glasses, cups, bowls, and silverware are cleaned in the dishwasher between each guest. -We take great care and pride in the cleanliness and the safety of our guest house before your arrival because we want you to feel as if you were our first guests! :-) Guest access This unit is separate and self contained with a private entrance. Monday through Friday the check-in time is no earlier than 5:00 p.m. and as late as 10:00 p.m. as I work full-time. We can however, be more flexible with check-in times on most Friday, Saturday and Sundays, just ask! :-)
