Deer visit our property almost daily to graze on our sweet clover fields. It's not uncommon to see them throughout the day. Other notable guests: fox, various birds, woodchucks, chipmunks Our home is just 2 years old, equipped with radiant floor heat throughout, a wood burning fireplace, split heat/AC units in every room, on-demand hot water heaters and Anderson windows. Furnished with high end Casper mattresses, Poly & Bark couches, Restoration Hardware dining table, Brooklinen fabrics, West Elm chairs and a Herman Miller Eames chair to name a few. We've curated 100 year old local barn wood for accent doors and trim, and art pieces selected to promote the outdoors and calmness for a memorable stay. Le Cruset cookware, glass tumblers, Laguiole flatware and marble coasters. Stay in and host a fabulous dinner party or venture out to many of the bespoke eateries. See the guidebook for our favorites! The house sits 200 yards up a winding driveway. There is ample outdoor parking, as well as 2 garage spots indoors which is particularly beneficial when it snows! You will be centrally located between many quaint towns, a scenic 10-15' minute drive will take you there. There aren't any uber/lyfts so you'll need a vehicle to get around. We recommend any all-wheel / 4x4 during the winter months. 12+ acres of quiet, peaceful and complete privacy. Neighbors aren't visible. Car or SUV (preferable). No public transportation. Ride shares are infrequent. We have put in years worth of preparation to host you. Please respect our home with the utmost care. Do let us know if you have any issues immediately, we understand minor things will go wrong as it's a part of life. Ultimately we simply want to share with you this wonderful experience of the Catskills! Pets: our preference is not to have pets, but will accept well behaved smaller animals for an additional fee per stay [$45]. There are highly regarded local kennels close by as well. We've provided a crate if necessary or helpful. If there is any damage, please let us know at the time and we'll resolve it quickly so no other guests will be impacted.
