Has a private entrance from the porch with a cafe table and chairs for morning coffee or a sunset view The room is in a 1880's country home 5 mi. east of La Grange and 6 mi. west of Ellinger. It is owner occupied. Round Top & Fayetteville are close for antiques, art, quilts, parks, lake, music, food and your favorite kolaches. Come see us! The space The bedroom, hallway and bathroom are the only interior accessible spaces for guests. Guest access The property is 1.5 acres bordered by Hwy 71 to the south, a hay field to the west, a neighbor to the north and a gas compression station to the east. All of our property is accessible to guests. There is a wrap around porch on the south and west side with seating and a deck on the north side. The workshop adjacent to the carport is off limits and typically locked. There are three country roads nearby (Hatterman, Halstedt and Joiner) that are great for walking. During your stay Most of the time, I am available onsite, by message or phone as needed. I do like to personally meet my guests but aside from that, I let the guest choose the level of interaction with me. I am happy to visit (especially about my bees and chickens) or operate quietly in the background. Other things to note Our large Great Pyrenees, JJ, lives in the fenced back yard and chickens roam around wherever they choose.
