I have a two year old golden retriever, Asher, who will insist on saying hello, his bestie, Max, may also be visiting, and an elusive grey cat who will be distant but curious. My sweet pets do not enter your space, but will admire you from afar and will be happy to give you the fenced in backyard for your pets to roam. This friendly neighborhood is a great place to take a walk and enjoy the scenery. Deer, fox, squirrels, and birds populate the wooded area behind the house. There is a popular walking trail .8 mi. down the road and the downtown area boasts a popular live theater, Depot Park, and many local shops. Further down S.R. 421 you will find large shopping areas and many more restaurants. Sanford, NC is known as a crossroads because if its easy accessibility by highway to Raleigh, Greensboro, Chapel Hill, Pittsboro, Moncure, Southern Pines/Pinehurst, and Fayetteville. Raleigh International Airport is 45 min. away. Amtrack is available in Raleigh and Southern Pines. The house 1 mile off of Rt. 1 at the Spring Ln exit. Sanford represents the beginning trail of well known golf courses. Pottery and the Temple Theater provide enjoyable attractions in this town.
