The Highland Hideaway (with Highland cows!)

The Highland Hideaway is a perfect place for the whole family to relax and enjoy. Four of the cutest fuzzy cows live here! A wet-weather creek is just behind the house, with a rock bluff and fire pit. There is a foos ball table and massage chair for your enjoyment after a day of hiking. The Hideaway is located 3 miles from Carver Landing. You'll be within easy access to SO MANY gorgeous places, including the national park. There is a second home on the property that can also be booked. The space The Highland Hideaway is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful Ozarks. There's plenty of room for the whole family! You're 3 miles from Carver's Landing and the Gene Rush Wildlife Management Area. During the winter and spring, a seasonal creek flows right behind the home. In case of bad weather, we have plenty to keep you busy inside. There are Highland cows that roam the pasture surrounding the home. They're quite friendly, but mind their horns! If you'd like more guests to join you, there is a second home on the property that can be rented as well (The Wee Nook, which sleeps 2). Guest access You have access to the whole home and yard. The second house on the property may be rented, so we ask you to respect their space (homes are about 400 yards apart, so there's plenty of room!) The houses are on 20 acres, but we do ask you to stay out of the fence. The cows are sweet, but they do have hooves, teeth, and horns. For your safety, please do not cross the fence for any reason. Other things to note Please aware that the home is down mile-long gravel driveway, with a steep hill. I've had no trouble in my 2wd SUV, but I don't recommend motorcycles!!
