Private Room Nine Soultan River Breeze Guesthouse

Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and fresh home cooked food on our farm which is located a mere 1.7 km from centrally appointed Pont Cassé and approximately 30Mins (18km) northeast of the national capital, Roseau. We are a short distance from Dominica’s longest river, the Layou, which has several areas of interest including hot water at Glo Cho (about one mile upriver from the bridge) and lovely pools of “bassier” along the way. The space Soak up the modern & vintage charm of this fully remodeled Dominican home. Eclectic accents include a record player with vinyl collections, original artwork & super comfy beds. In harmony with our guesthouse, we also operate a flourishing permaculture farm and boasts an abundance of greens, roots, medicinal herbs & citrus enabling us to bring you fresh farm to table goodies including eggs from our locally raised chickens. We also raise rabbits, goats, and pigs, all remotely located away from the guesthouse. We have a wide variety of trees including grapefruit, guava, papaya, avocado, plantain and borrow banana/cocoi. Here you will also find a varied selection of yams, spinach, seasoning peppers, eggplant, cabbage, lettuce, carrot, tomato, tania, sorrel, cristopheen & dasheen. A tour of our farm can be arranged while on site and produce can be purchased for ease of convenience as they are not many local outlets for shopping outside of the main town. The Guesthouse is on the second level and features 9 comfortably appointed rooms with their own individual bathrooms. There is a fully equipped kitchen that guests can use to prepare meals. It features a bar and entertainment space with a pool table. This space can be used to host parties and other events upon request. Our Bush Bar is stocked with an array of local bush rums & alcohol. Also available for purchase are soft drinks, natural juices, smoothies, snacks & baked local goodies. Guests can request airport pickup and drop-off upon booking. Car Rentals are also available. Bookings can be made for spa services inclusive of massage and therapeutic foot soaks & scrubs with local medicinal herbs & oils. All our products are made on property and mini workshops can be requested in advance. Workshops will introduce you to a selection of medicinal herbs to help you easily identify their Botanical & Local names & usage & benefits, as well as to incorporate them into Product Samples for takeaway. They make excellent souvenirs.
