Cozy 3* gîte – Stopover beaches, forests and countryside

Our 3-star cottage with private garden and terrace awaits you 7 minutes (by car) from the beaches and dunes, at the foot of Mont Saint-Frieux and a stone's throw from the rolling countryside of the Boulonnais. The gîte is in the rural village of Neufchâtel, located between the sea, forests and countryside (3 farms nearby). You will recharge your batteries there, on sunny days as well as in the winter winds... And everyone is welcome with their unique characteristics and human qualities: at TĒRĒMĒR, there is no place for discrimination :-) The space Our 3* rated tourist accommodation, in operation since the end of 2021, is part of a 19th century Boulonnais farmhouse, completely restored with care in 2018. You will feel at home here, with a dedicated entrance, a private garden and a south-facing wooden terrace: everything to feel on vacation in peace and complete autonomy. The accommodation is fully equipped to be comfortable and make your stay easier: dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, but also free fast Wi-Fi. However, here you will find furniture and decor items from the circular economy: we like to give a second life to objects that have already gone through several decades, in order to create a cozy atmosphere :-) On the leisure side (it sometimes rains, or in the evening), a TV is available, with Netflix and Prime Video (dedicated accounts) for fans of series and cinema. For music lovers and those who like breakfast to the sound of a familiar tune, a Bluetooth sound system is also available to create the musical atmosphere of your stay :-) The living room consists of a living room, with an open equipped kitchen. We've strived to carefully furnish and decorate. It overlooks both the garden and the terrace, equipped (in season) with outdoor furniture and barbecue: enough to enjoy the spring mildness, sunbathe or have a hoppy drink in the evening ;-) Everyone will find their happiness: we tested it for you ;-) The master bedroom (for two people and possibly a baby cot for a little one) is under the roofs, with the bathroom. It feels sheltered, including when the frame creaks under the sea or north wind. The secondary bedroom (on the ground floor) can accommodate two people, rather children) and has a sanitary area and sink. Both bedrooms are equipped with quality mattresses and the beds will be waiting for you already made. You will also find towels available: all you have to do is enjoy them ;-) Committed to offering a place that is respectful of all, we have chosen to use environmentally friendly cleaning products (housing and linens). No phytosanitary products are used in the garden, which has regained its seasonal wildflowers. In this spirit of eco-responsibility, we also pay attention to the economy of resources and the sorting of waste. Guest access The cottage is located a stone's throw from the heart of the village of Neufchâtel, it is quickly accessible from exit 27 of the A16, but also by the national road from Boulogne-sur-Mer (15 minutes away). A free parking area (for one or two cars) and dedicated to the cottage is available just a few meters away, to the left of the cottage entrance gate, just after the grassy embankment. It is very easy to walk to the village in minutes, for the bakery for example or in the shops of local products. A Carrefour Market supermarket is just over 5 minutes' drive for your grocery shopping (or the gas station) in the nearby village of Nesles The gîte is located just between two beaches! The urban Hardelot-Plage is accessible by bike in 15-20 minutes (slightly longer ascent), by car in 7-8 minutes. If you prefer a wild beach lined with dunes and punctuated by bouchots (mussel farming), Dannes Beach (7-8 minute drive) will surely delight you, we love it :-) On the way to Dannes beach, you can discover Mont Saint-Frieux and the surrounding dune ecosystem: beautiful walks, fauna and flora in perspective. There are cattle with impressive horns, which naturally and peacefully maintain the dunes. The countryside is within walking distance in minutes and promises beautiful walks in the fields or on the edge of the forest (if you are a fan of mushrooms this is a good plan). More broadly, the cottage is an ideal base for exploring the entire Côte d'Opale from Calais to Berck via Boulonnais, Étaples and Le Touquet. Other things to note The cottage located in a watchhouse lives on uneven ground and with levels both indoors and outdoors, is unfortunately not accessible to people with reduced mobility moving in a wheelchair. The cottage is a few minutes drive from the pages and shops, in a rural and residential area, so you will have to be motorized in order to be able to go shopping or enjoy the local tourist sites. We do not charge a cleaning fee, so we ask guests to take care of the accommodation and return it in the same clean condition as when it was entrusted to them (additional charges may apply if this is not the case).
