The house is in a beautiful location on the edge of a tiny hamlet near the lovely town of Monflanquin (4km). It is a spacious restored eighteenth-century farmhouse sleeping 10 people, with a large lawned garden and swimming pool (open late May-September), and views over the surrounding countryside. Perfect for families with children. The house, pool and grounds are entirely for your use during your stay. The space The heart of the house is its kitchen and dining room. The big kitchen with central island is very well-equipped with everything you need (including dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, double oven, hob, Nespresso machine). Adjoining it are the pantry and laundry room (washing machine and dryer). The beamed dining room opens onto the kitchen and the dining terrace and has a large table for family meals. There is a cosy sitting-room with a woodburning stove, sofas and TV, and a Yamaha NU1 hybrid piano. On the ground floor there is also a separate WC. There is Wi-Fi and a TV with UK channels as well as a DVD player. Mobile phone reception is good. The master bedroom, on the ground floor of the main house, is a very large and light room with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and a large separate shower. The second bedroom, on the ground floor of the main house, is a pretty and light room with king-size bed and views to Monflanquin. En-suite with shower. On the first floor is one twin and one double room, and a big family bathroom with bath and a large separate shower. The attached guest annexe has a private entrance. It has a double bedroom, a bathroom with a shower, and a large beamed sitting room with kitchenette area (fridge, kettle). The sitting room opens onto the front garden on one side and a shaded terrace on the other, with views across the garden and pool out onto the countryside. Bedlinen and towels (including pool towels) are included. There is a large gated parking area in front of the house which will fit five cars comfortably. The garden surrounds the house and has two shaded south-west-facing terraces overlooking the pool. There is a trampoline and a gas barbecue. The pool (10mx5m) has a sun terrace and loungers.
