This cozy little home is located in the small town of Markham, TX only 10 minutes from Bay City. There is the Colorado River that is less than 10 mins away, the Tres Palacios River about 20 mins away and the Matagorda Beach about 30 mins away if your wanting to do any fishing, boating, or swimming. Houston is only an hour and a half away as well. It’s a great house for workers or anyone that just wants to get away. This little house has 1 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen, covered parking, smart TV, washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, toaster, coffee maker, coffee cups, stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, utensils, plates, bowls, pots, and pans. The bedroom has a queen size bed, big closet and 2 dressers. There is a window unit in the bedroom that has cooling and heating. Another window unit is located in the living room and a radiator heater as well for the cooler weather. In the living room there is a couch, a recliner, a desk, and a TV. You will have access to Sling and Roku TV or you can use your own streaming services. The backyard is fully fenced in with a back deck to cook and hang out on. You get the entire home, parking, and backyard all to yourself. I’m available anytime! Located on the main road in Markham right next to a taco stand. The post office is one house over, and a convenient store is about a block away. There is a taco stand right next door where you can walk out and get breakfast or lunch. It can get busy in the mornings. If there’s any issues with that just let me know. We bought this little house in October 2021. We focused mainly on the interior of the house that is now ready for guests. We will be making improvements on the exterior when we aren’t hosting any guests and weather permitting. This little cozy house is not perfect but it is a very clean, safe, cozy, and quiet house.
