Grade II Listed detached cottage

A quintessentially English grade II listed Jacobean character cottage. Located in a sheltered position down its own private driveway. The cottage provides the very best combination of country cottage living with rural and rustic original features. Three large double bedrooms, traditional bathroom, bespoke handmade kitchen diner, enormous reception room with inglenook fireplace and large formal dining table. Generous private garden with outhouse (pool table), seating and firepit. The space This is my dream house that I was lucky enough to purchase this year. My family are all in Devon and I divide my time between the house (when not booked) and my home in London. I'm thrilled to be the new custodian of Church House and look forward to future guests enjoying it as much as I do! Church house, although packed with all the mod cons, is a medieval property with all the quirks that come with an extremely old rural house! Church house is in the grounds of St Peters church and the graveyard is directly behind the house, with direct private access through a gate at the bottom of the garden (should you be interested). You will hear the bells - but luckily the Sunday service doesn't start till 11am! Guest access There is plenty of parking in the village and space for two cars in front of the house down the private lane (which you can also park on if you need/prefer). Church House is self check in, there is a Key Safe in the porch. I am on hand by mobile and have a local contact for anything that requires attention during your stay. Other things to note Logs will be available for guests to use (replenishment appreciated if you are an avid fire person!) Dogs are welcome! One free, extra dog £15 per week. I have fenced the whole garden so it is dog friendly (unless you have a very tiny chihuahua!), and there is also a gate at the front of the house.
