We have a dog run they can be hooked up to out the back door for bathroom breaks if needed. Because they do cause a little extra work on clean up, we charge an additional $50 initial cleaning fee +$10 per additional pet so please let us know if you plan to bring your furry friends so we can make sure you are charged appropriately! While we believe guest who travel with pets have well behaved pets, if there is any damage accidentally incurred we expect that you will cover the cost of the repair. Also if we find that you’ve brought your pet and we aren’t notified to charge you (we hate to do this :() you will be charged $75. The sun porch that has the twin bed and futon is not air conditioned. It has two doors into the main house and can steal some AC that way from the house, however it will be warmer in the hot summer months than the rest of the house. There are two box fans in the closet to help push cool air out there. It has a wood-burning stove for the colder months that keeps it very warm, just remember to bring wood. Newton County is a dry county so you will need to remember to bring your own alcohol with you. The closest liquor store is Wow Liquor Store in Harrison about 30 mins away. You can also get wine and beer at grocery stores in Harrison. Grill is a park style charcoal grill. You may use leftover charcoal and lighter fluid, but might bring your own just in case. If you book an extended stay (14 days or more) our cleaning fee is $200. We will charge you the $125 difference separately via the resolution center.
