Just steps to the beach on the Gulf side of Gulf Blvd. It’s a cozy apartment fully furnished and supplied. It’s perfect for a couple (Queen sized bed), and has a sleeper sofa for a child. Beach chairs, towels, bikes (depending on availability)and an umbrella are supplied by host upon advance request . There is one parking space available. 3 Day minimum. The space Cute little guest apartment just steps to the Gulf of Mexico (no streets to cross). There is only one parking space allowed. There is no smoking allowed on property and no pets allowed. 3 person limit. Keep in mind that this is not a luxury space, it’s a comfortable place to enjoy the beach. It is just over 50 years old, and it’s not perfect. If you love the beach, you will love this apartment! Look up Filomena’s Flat on Youtube for a walk through of the apartment and the outside. 2023-recently remodeled bathroom, new front door, new air conditioning unit, and added laundry machine. Guest access The entrance (door to gain access inside) is facing the north on the north side of property along the walkway heading west from the driveway. The lock box is just to the right hand side of the door under the AC unit. The code will be provided via message in AIRBNB the morning of your arrival. Guests are allowed only on the north side of the property aligned with the apartment. Small patio area in front of apartment for relaxing and dining outside. The main cottage, patio, and courtyard on the south side of the property is off limits please. Please park in the right lane of the driveway (north side) and stay within the painted lines on the driveway. Sometimes the GPS may take you around to the rear of the property and end up on Beach Trail which is the alley behind the property. Be mindful that it is wrong. The driveway to pull into the property is directly on Gulf Blvd. If you bring a vehicle, we suggest you back it into the driveway if you can. It is easier to pull out when you leave the property. Other things to note There is no smoking allowed on or near the property please. Smoking is suggested at the beach access where there are proper receptacles for your cigarette butts. Please do not litter or use our trash cans for the cigarette butts. Use the access cans and receptacles provided at the beach access. There are no pets allowed. Use the beach access facilities to rinse off. There is a foot rinse and an outdoor shower there to rinse off before returning to the home. PLEASE RINSE ALL SAND OFF OF YOURSELVES BEFORE COMING BACK TO THE PROPERTY. DO NOT RINSE OFF IN THE BATHROOM. ITS TERRIBLE FOR THE PLUMBING. Please alert me of how many beach, umbrellas, chairs and beach toys you will need prior to your stay. We are fully equipped to supply most of your needs, so you don’t have to buy or pack any of the beach essentials. ATTENTION BEACHGOERS May 1st-October 31st: It's sea turtle nesting season! Please knock down sandcastles and fill in holes before leaving the beach! The kids might not like it but it’s important to knock your sandcastle over and flatten out the sand at the end of the day. Teach them that filling in all holes made in the sand can avoid the entrapment of sea turtle hatchlings while on their way to the water. Even the nesting mothers can become stuck in these holes when crawling up the beach to nest. Furthermore, remove all beach accessories, such as tents, umbrellas, toys, and chairs. These prevent obstacles for both the mother and the hatchlings. Let's all do our best to keep the beach clean, flat and dark during nesting season. Thanks! ✌🏻❤️🐢
