Our location in a modest neighborhood provides privacy and is perfect for a romantic retreat or as a home-base for Island exploration. Access instructions (including driving directions, WiFi information, check out instructions, etc.) will be found in your check in packet which is emailed to you once the rental agreement is signed electronically. If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact us. Weekly garbage service through Island Disposal is set up during peak season. There will be a sign in the house with instructions for setting out the can(s) if your stay is during this time. If not, the housekeeper will pick up all trash after your stay. Please see the check in packet regarding house rules and other details about your rental. Please respect our sensitive septic system by putting nothing in the toilet except TP, and no cooking oil nor food scraps down the kitchen drain. We have excellent neighbors and want to maintain good standing in the neighborhood by renting only to guests who are respectful of people and property. We have asked our neighbors to call us about guests that are unusually loud, exceed the allowed number of guests, bring pets, or in any way create disturbances in the neighborhood. Excessive noise complaints will also be directed to the non-emergency police. In the event of a power outage, we are nearby and will be in contact with a plan for your comfort. Outages on the island occur more frequently and last longer than on the mainland during the rainy windy season. We cannot accommodate any pets. You will be asked to leave the property if this policy is violated, no refund will be offered. Any guest over the age of 5 count as 1 of 4 occupants. You must notify your host of any child under the age of 5 that will be joining your reservation. Only 4 guests are allowed on the property. Guest must notify host for prior approval of any day guests. Langley shops are currently in a Covid-cautious set up and we recommend calling ahead to ensure your favorite spots are open day-of.
