Spacious and cozy

Before booking this space please read all the information. This is a basement apartment, with a kitchen, bedroom, and a bathroom. Here are a few considerations before u book. The ceilings measured from top to floor a little over 6 ft. There is a sub pump. You usually hear it when it flushes. However, the noise is not unbearable. But if you are a light sleeper, maybe this is not for you. There is 1 free parking space in the backyard, and free parking on the street. The space The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.... The kitchen space has a fridge, microwave, electric skillet, a flat top hot plate, an electric kettle, a coffee maker, coffee, tea, salt & pepper shaker, etc. The bedroom has a double bed fits 2 people. I have a portable a/c unit. This house is walking distance to downtown, this is not a hotel, the houses here are 6 family and 3 family brick houses. If you are looking for a suburban type of accommodation, then this might not be for you. Again, this is a basement apartment, very spacious and cozy, no frills, no fancy, just clean, warm, and cozy. I have lived here for over 15 years, I never had any issues going out or coming home. The lock on the entrance door locks automatically, so please have your key at all times when you step outside. you can also turn the lock on the door so you won't get lock out. Guests can use all spaces in this apartment. The check-in time is after 5 p.m., and check-out time is 11 am. There is a check-out late fee, so please check out on time. Thanks. Please use the table and chair set beside your entrance door outside in the backyard. This is where you would smoke. No smoking is allowed in the apartment plz. Please take your keys when you are going outside so you dont get locked out of the apartment thanks. Other things to note In this basement apartment, you have your own entrance, a parking space of your own. You let yourself in and out of the apartment. The steps going down to the basement are a bit steep, but i made them wider and better to step down with side rails and step protection rubber. This is a basement, so at times, u will hear water running in the pipes and sounds from the heating system that's normal for the basement. But overall it's very accommodating, comfortable, spacious & private. I just need to add that my basement is a whole floor like my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors. my 3rd floor is now an attic. I occupy both 1st and 2nd floors and also the other half of my basement. it means half of the basement is a self-contained apartment. while I occupy the other half. So there is a door in between both sections that can lock from both sides. I have changed the bed to a 4 poster with a much firmer mattress.
