Welcome to Dar Medusa. Our guest house is set in a 1940s building with original tiles, colourful art, and a rooftop overlooking the Citadel. Just a short walk to downtown and Rainbow Street, and 20 minutes from Jabal Al-Weibdeh. The space Dar Medusa is a peaceful and welcoming space made for travellers who appreciate character and calm. The house is full of thoughtful details, a laid-back vibe, and just the right balance between community and quiet. Whether you're here for a short visit or a longer stay, Dar Medusa feels like a place you can settle into. Guest access Each guest has a private room and access to shared spaces in the house. The rooftop is open to all guests and is a favourite spot for relaxing with a view of the Citadel. We also have shared kitchen and lounge areas, depending on the floor. During your stay I’m usually around if you need anything-whether it's local recommendations, help with plans, or just a good conversation. I like to give guests their space but I’m always happy to connect when the moment feels right. I simply want you to feel welcomed, relaxed, and comfortable during your stay. Other things to note Our guest house has 10 rooms spread over several floors, and each floor has its own entrance. The house is layered across several levels, connected by stairs. The rooftop is shared by all guests and is usually quiet, especially in the mornings and evenings. We ask everyone to be respectful of the space and the people around them. We can also help arrange local trips and airport pickup - just let us know in advance. If you have any questions before or during your stay, I’m happy to help.
