Buntes House-Casa Hotel Laureles-Estadio
Description
Traveling together but need space? This room is perfect for a couple who don’t want to fight over the blanket—or two friends who prefer not to take turns in bed. It has two double beds, a fan, desk, Smart TV, and good natural light. While designed for two, it can host up to four guests. There’s no private bathroom, but you’ll have access to two shared ones cleaned daily. A spacious, comfy option to share without stepping on each other’s toes. The space Buntes House was born from the idea of creating a space where people can feel at home — a peaceful, clean environment with the possibility to connect with other travelers. If you’re looking for a safe, beautiful, residential neighborhood with a strategic location to move around Medellín, this is the place for you. We're not a hostel, but we're not your typical Airbnb either: at Buntes House, you can choose to use our fully equipped kitchen or enjoy a delicious traditional breakfast prepared with love by our charming housekeeper. The property has 8 rooms: quadruple, triple, double, and single options. Some have private bathrooms, others share one. All rooms have a unique decoration, Smart TV with access to Netflix, YouTube, and 100 Mb high-speed internet — perfect for remote workers or anyone who refuses to compromise on connection quality. Each room includes a comfortable bed, two pillows per guest, clean sheets, blankets, towels, a desk, work chair, reading light, fan, closet or hanging rack. Most rooms have large exterior windows and natural light. Some rooms have interior windows or no direct sunlight. If this is important to you, please check with us before booking. You can also enjoy our open-air terrace, perfect for sunbathing, breakfast, or just relaxing. The house is 300 m², spacious, well-ventilated, and decorated with care to make it feel welcoming. We are located just 5 minutes walking from Floresta metro station and 15 from Estadio. If you're looking for nightlife, just a few more minutes on foot will take you to 70th Avenue, known for its bars, restaurants, and clubs. Just one block away is 80th Avenue, full of shops, fruit markets, and supermarkets where you can stock up if you'd rather cook. Nearby, you'll also find the Atanasio Girardot sports complex, a huge public space with running tracks, pools, skate park, soccer fields, basketball courts, and more. Free group classes like Zumba and salsa are also offered in the evenings. Getting around Medellín from the house is super easy, with Floresta metro station just 5 minutes away and plenty of bus routes passing through 80th Avenue, only two blocks from the house. 🧠 Useful Info: 🔐 100% Self Check-in: We use a smart lock with a personal code. Whenever possible, we’re also happy to welcome you in person. ⏰ Late Check-in: If you plan to arrive late at night, please let us know in advance so we can assign your access code. 🚗 Private Garage: Only Room 1 includes the use of the internal garage. It is not available to guests staying in other rooms. Garage use is voluntary and under the guest’s responsibility, as we do not offer 24/7 security. Some guests choose to tip the night guard to keep an eye on their vehicle — this is also at their own risk. The house also has two exterior parking spots, which may be available occasionally, but are not assigned or guaranteed to any room. We look forward to welcoming you! 🏡✨ Guest access Guests have access to their private room and the shared common areas, including the fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining area, shared bathrooms (if applicable), and the open terrace — perfect for sunbathing or enjoying a relaxed breakfast. Access to the accommodation is self-check-in, using a smart lock with a personal code. Whenever possible, we also love to welcome you in person. If you book Room 1, you’ll also have exclusive access to the private garage. Important: If you use the terrace at night, please keep noise levels low after 11:00 p.m. out of respect for the neighbors. We want everyone to enjoy the space without disturbing others' rest. During your stay We like to offer an independent yet supported experience. You can check in on your own using a personalized code, and whenever possible, we love to welcome you in person. During your stay, we’ll be available for any questions or needs — preferably through the platform’s messaging system. We truly value good communication and our guests’ independence. We’ll be attentive without invading your space, and happy to help if something isn’t working as expected. Other things to note .-This is a private room within a shared house — not an apartment or studio. -There are 7 other rooms on the property, so you’ll be sharing common areas (kitchen, living room, dining room, terrace) with other guests. -Shared bathrooms — the room does not have a private bathroom; you’ll share 2 bathrooms with guests from 4 other rooms. -TV with Netflix and YouTube only — there are no national channels (RCN, Caracol, etc.) in the room. If you need those, there’s a shared TV in the living room. -The house has older finishes, but it is well maintained and decorated to be comfortable and cozy. -Possible occasional noise — since spaces are shared, there may be activity in the kitchen, dining room, or terrace. -No private security, only exterior cameras. Outdoor parking is free on a first-come, first-served basis. Some guests choose to tip the neighborhood guard for extra attention, but this is at their own responsibility. -Check-in from 3:00 p.m. — you can leave luggage earlier at no cost; early access to the room is only possible if available and with an extra fee. -Check-out at 11:00 a.m. — late check-outs have an additional fee. -Pets are accepted for an extra fee, as long as they bring their own bed and vaccination record. -If you are very sensitive to sharing spaces or interacting with other guests, this accommodation is probably not for you.
