In the heart of the castle on the second floor, this private room in neutral tones of 20 m2 and its private bathroom will offer a view of the castle park. Its desk area and queen-size bed will allow a sophisticated stay with ease. This room pays tribute to the former owners who built the castle at the end of the 18th century. François René Gournet, lawyer at the Court of Cassation, the first owner, bequeathed the castle to his wife Marie-Catherine Pavy des Fontaines. Through this legacy, she built a chapel on the estate in 1830 for herself and the inhabitants of the village. In 1846, she bequeathed the chapel to the parish and had it blessed by Monsignor Demaire, dean of Notre-Dame de Melun. Located in the heart of the castle, it pays tribute to the couple who gave birth to the castle.
