The space ** UPGRADE YOUR STAY: Add the Carriage House Lounge (formerly the garage) to your reservation for an additional fee. ** The Carriage House was built as part of The Hillcrest Estate's 120 acre property in the 1870s. It was remodeled in 2018 in a farmhouse chic style that is cozy and in a secluded area of the property, away from the road. You can sit on the front porch with a cup of coffee and enjoy this secluded and peaceful country space and views. The house is surrounded by trees and farm fields. The owners private residence, the main mansion on the property is south of the carriage house loop and guests are prohibited from entering that area. Two of the bedrooms includes a queen bed and dresser along with space to hang your clothes! The third bedroom includes a twin daybed with trundle and a television. There are two bathrooms in the home. One with a sliding barn door and shower. The second bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo and a washer/dryer unit. We provide all you shower essentials including towels, wash cloths, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. A television is provided in the living room and you are free to utilize our amazon prime account or login to your YouTube TV, Disney+, Netflix and Hulu account. The kitchen is stocked with all necessary appliances to make you or your family a meal. Wifi is available via frontier. There is a designated fire pit area behind the home. You should purchase and bring fire wood prior to your arrival - or visit a local Dollar General (that traditionally sells it in the summer months). Utilize the main driveway with the "Hillcrest" sign/gate upon arrival. Please respect our long-term tenants and guests in the mansion during your stay. Hosts live in the mansion on the property. The outdoor noise ordinance is 11pm. This is a cozy, shabby chic space intended and priced for a maximum of 6 guests. Additional accommodations: Our mansion onsite can accommodate up to 14. Please inquire for more information. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire house aside from the locked master bedroom closet, and the garage (game room space) with their reservation. Guests have the option to add-on the lounge/game room for an additional cost. The tan homes and yards north of the carriage house are off-limits. The barns north and east of the carriage house are off-limits. Entering the woodlands and farm fields surrounding the home is off-limits. The main mansion (The Hillcrest Estate), reflecting pool, veranda, and lawn/yard south of the carriage house is off limits. You are welcome to utilize the yard area(s) immediately surrounding the carriage house and the fire-pit next to it. Your host lives in the mansion, across from the carriage house. Other things to note *Children's toys (below age 5), highchair, plates/utensils, and books are available upon request Early check in or late check out (pending availability) available as an optional enhancement, please inquire for pricing. Please respect incoming guests and our cleaning team and be prompt for check out. Deep cleaning fee of $500 charged for any unregistered pets. Pets are only allowed when pre-registered. We do not allow cats due to cleaner/host allergy; we allow dogs. No more than 2 dogs are permitted to stay at the property. We do have exterior security cameras for security and your safety. Be sure to register all guests staying/present in the home. Airbnb has strict rules about added guests. All additional guests will be billed for! As part of check out procedures, guests are responsible for making sure all personal belongings are collected. Host is not responsible for forgotten/left behind items. Parties are prohibited. Unregistered events will be shut down by law enforcement and escorted off property. $500 fee. No refunds. Smoking of any kind in the home is prohibited. Deep cleaning fee of $500 will be incurred if any smoke smell is discovered upon guest check-out.
