The space Lazy Loon Waterfront cottage is a beautifully renovated, very private cottage spread over one acres of land. The whole property is very tastefully decorated, and there are several areas throughout this property that can be used to sit, relax, and enjoy!! Interiors are all Pine, which gives the perfect cabin feel. This cottage is a perfect mix of rustic charm and luxury. The big vaulted ceilings in the living room and the wall to wall windows give such amazing feel and best views of the lake, something really magical that you can never forget!! This place is perfect for families to spend quality time together. The cottage has high-speed unlimited starlink internet and has automatic generator installed, which guests can use in case there is a power outage . Perfect place in case guests still need to work from Cottage. The cottage is 3 bedrooms, 1 big living room and 1 bathroom, and has breathtaking views of Jordan Lake right from the living room couch. The view is something so incredible that it makes you return again & again!! The cottage and the gardens are on the flat grounds with very easy parking. Lots of parking spaces are available. The waterfront is on the lower ground with a very smooth ramp down to the water. The walk to the water through the ramp is fairly easy for all ages. It helps that there are no stairs to water but a properly made path in the form of a ramp. Huge newly built dock by the lake to sit, lounge, enjoy the breathtaking views, and for most amazing clean, weed free swimming right from the Dock. Safety ladder available. Water is around 14 feet deep from the edge of the dock. -The cottage has lots of activities for all ages for all seasons. There is never a dull moment. Something for everyone to enjoy!! -Firewood for firepits is included with the Stay ( one firepit is by the lake and one by the gardens). Gorgeous incredible views. -5 burner Stainless steel bbq with propane tank available to use. -Lots of seating areas, with lots of Muskoka chairs and outdoor barrel table with pub like seating!! -For summer, various watercrafts are included with the stay. This includes 2 adult Kayaks, 2 Kids Kayaks, 1 Padal boat, and a Metal non motorized fishing boat . Inflatables and life jackets are also available. - Various indoor games and games table included for all seasons. Poker Set, Chess, Air hockey table,Foos ball table available inside the Cottage. -DVD's for kids and adults and DVD player available. -Smart TV available in the living room. It has Netflix, YouTube, and other apps available. Works well with high-speed unlimited internet. - Coffee machines, including Keurig as well as black and decker regular coffee machine available. Various coffee options, welcome Keurig coffee pods available on your arrival. -Spice rack with lots of basic spices available. -The cottage and the whole property is nicely lighted with garden string lights and solar lights in various areas. The lights are either on timer or are motion activated. The cottage access is nice and easy any time of the day. -The cottage has 2(Queen Beds) , 1 double bed over 1 single bed( bunk bed) , 1 queen size sofa bed in the living room . -The cottage has brand new memory foam mattresses for a very comfortable sleep and comes with mattress protectors as well as pillow protectors . -The cottage can comfortably sleep up to 7-8 people. -The cottage is Four Seasons with a propane based furnace installed at the property. It keeps cottage nicely warm and toasted in winter months. For summer months, multiple fans are available in all rooms. Dehumidifiers are also available at the cottage for the summer months. -For winter months, tobbogans are available at the property. The ramp to the water can be used for tobogganing during winter months. Lake also freezes beautifully usually by December-January, adding lots of fun activities at the frozen lake, including ice fishing, ice hockey, etc. This cottage is perfect for a memorable family time together with lots of birds watching, beaver sighting, loons, and other beautiful wildlife around the property. Sit under the stars by the fire pit at night or sit by the dock. There is so much to keep you occupied with your loved ones!! The Cottage is spread over more than 1 acres of land with very beautiful lush green well maintained gardens, amazing seating area by water with firepit available, small hiking trail within the property, sand area for kids with sand toys and the best of all a huge 16*20 newly built dock perfect for lounging, fishing, jumping into the water right off the dock. Water is around 14 feet deep from the Dock. Provides perfect swimming for adults and kids with life jackets. The lake water is usually warm and perfect for swimming. Cottage comes with 4 adults' life jackets and few toddler and kid size jackets. For kids and adults its recommended to bring their own perfect life jackets for the best safety. The cottage Kitchen comes fully loaded with utensils,crockery and all the newer appliances including dishwasher, microwave, Keurig coffee machine with Welcome Coffee Pods, Regular coffee machine,high end Ninja Airfryer and Oven, Electric Stove/Oven, brand new double door stainless steel refrigerator. The water comes from the well and has UV filtration system installed to it. Water is safe for drinking and cooking. Still guests can bring water bottles if they would like. The cottage is meant for families and friends to connect with each other, spend good time and create long lasting memories but is not meant for people planning loud parties. We value guests that care about neighbors and treat our property nicely. Cottage is located 30 minutes from the beautiful town of Bancroft and 7 minutes drive to a beautiful sandy shallow Steenburg public beach. Lots of conservation areas, provincial parks and beautiful lakes, walking trails within the close proximity of the cottage. Places to visit close by- -Steenburg public lake beach -Egan Chutes Provincial Park - Gull conservation area -Wollaston lake beach -Eagles nest lookout -Marmora Mines 2 Grocery stores , LCBO, gas station, nice family restaurant within 5-7 minutes distance from the cottage. Guest access Guests have access to the whole property and areas, gardens, trail going up from the garden, the lower grounds, waterfront, dock ( in late spring, summers and Fall). Basically the whole 1 acres property is available for guests private use. Basement access is not provided. Its a room with separate entry. We store our storage items there. Inside the Cottage, full access is provided to the guests except 1 storage almira and 1 kitchen cabinet. Other things to note The cottage comes fully loaded with all amenities to make your stay very comfortable. We provide top quality memory foam mattresses as well as mattress protectors on all beds. We provide good quality pillows with pillow protectors as well. All bedsheets and pillow covers are provided. We do not provide Blankets and Bath towels. We ask our guests to bring those along for the stay. Kitchen, comes fully loaded with all appliances. Dishwasher, Range Hood, Microwave, Keurig Coffee Machine with Welcome Coffee Pods,Oven, Ninja Airfryer, Refrigerator, Electric Stove , all basic spices, loads of utensils and cutlery for your perfect homey kitchen feel. Bathroom comes with all needed supplies. Hand soap, Shampoo, bodywash, toilet tissues available. Hand towels available. Bath towels to be brought by guest. We have left Roomba to help with your cleaning needs while you are staying. We provide dish tablets for dishwasher and all the cleaning supplies, including lysol wipes and sprays . Various firepit areas by the lake and by garden. Firewood is provided. High speed unlimited internet available at the Cottage Cottage has generator as well. So your trip won't ruin incase of power outage. Various watercrafts, 2 adult Kayaks, 2 kids Kayaks, 1 Pedal boat included with the stay for the warmer months. Winter seasons - Tobbogans and Sleds provided. Tobboganing hill at the property and frozen lake usually from December to March. We hope a great and very comfortable stay for our guests. At the end of the stay we ask our dear guests to return the cottage in the best clean condition possible.
