The Granary
Description
Self contained compact two-storey brick outbuilding in the garden of a residential property based in Wye, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Only a ten minute walk from the train station, opposite a popular local pub and conveniently located nearby to all local village amenities. This is a great place to use as a base to explore the beautiful countryside of the North Downs, whether on foot or bike, and within easy reach of the beaches of the south coast and the historic city of Canterbury. The space Small and cosy but all you need for a stay. Downstairs a small living and dining space with kitchenette and wet room style bathroom off it. Upstairs a sleeping area with tv and a small amount of storage. Electric responsive heating to keep you cosy. Note that if we have a hot spell the space can be hot upstairs with only a velux for ventilation. Guest access Parking is free on the street and mostly easy to park very near by. Access to the holiday let is via our side gate and to the rear of our property through our garden. We have a friendly dog who does bark to say her welcome but will love to become your friend. We also have a bonkers new puppy but she’s also harmless and very friendly. They share the garden but if you aren’t keen we can limit when they are out there. Other things to note To the rear of the building there are currently building works and so worth noting on week day mornings there may be some unwelcome early morning noise. We are sorry if this affects your stay. There is not a lot of storage but ample for a short stay without large suitcases. The COOP small supermarket in Wye is closed currently and reopens on 18 December 2024.
