Cosy Cartlodge on family farm in Suffolk sleeps 6+

The Cartlodge is situated down a long farm drive in gorgeous, peaceful Suffolk countryside. Here you can explore the farm and discover its wildlife, run, hug trees, play tennis, borrow our bikes, cook, relax in the herb garden and enjoy the peace. The space The Cartlodge is able to comfortably 2 adults in a double with bathroom ensuite + 2 more adults or children in a small twin. By arrangement you can have additional guests in a single bed + sofa bed in the living room, or in travel cots. We can offer additional rooms immediately adjacent as long as they are within the one-household maximum until 17th May. Spring on our farm is glorious - frogs croaking, cowslips and cow parsley flowering, the dawn chorus of birdsong, lambs skipping, gorgeous walks and borrow our bikes to explore the country lanes beyond. Masses to do outside on the farm or if it rains, you can watch TV, play scrabble or lego, or read about Tudor history! General: Central underfloor heating, TV/DVD, Wi-fi available in an emergency, iPod/phone docking station, radio alarm clock, kettle, toaster, iron, hair dryer Rooms:1 ground floor double bedroom with bathroom & shower ensuite, 1 upstairs (small) twin bedroom, second downstairs bathroom & shower. More showers available. Linen and towels provided. Upstairs sitting room with seating for 6+ - and a single bed + sofa bed. Huge, sunny, well-equipped kitchen with kitchen table that seats 12+, inc high chairs with Leisuremaster cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine Parking: plenty immediately adjacent and more beyond Outside: a fenced off private herb garden and lawn with picnic tables, croquet and barbecue. Beyond is our 500-acre environmentally friendly farm to explore. Discover our wildflower meadows, woodland and ponds full of newts and dragonflies. Explore our castle earthworks and small farm museum. For families ... Try our outdoor activity farm pack – scavenge hunts, pond dipping, tree hugging, bug hunts, wildflower garlands. Play tennis, football, croquet or boules. If it rains, play table tennis or delve in the dressing up box .. Guest access The Cartlodge is usually integral to letting the larger adjoining Tudor barn to large groups of 22 but due to current Covid restrictions we are letting the Cartlodge to smaller groups and your overflow guests from the same household in the rooms through the door into the adjacent barn if you have more guests than 6. But don't worry about there being another group next door - we never let the barn to another group without the Cartlodge! Other things to note Please note we can only let the Cartlodge out for midweek bookings only.
