On the slipway there is a picnic area with benches looking out across the Estuary to Powderham and Starcross and the nature reserves at Dawlish Warren. An ideal place to stroll over and watch the sun set, there are breathtaking views of the estuary and beyond to Dartmoor. There is a car park (very reasonably priced) 100 yds from the Studio and off street parking nearby. The cycle path is outside the front door and leads on to non-traffic cycle routes from where you can head right towards Exeter and then onto the other side of the river or left and down to Exmouth. Most of the routes are traffic free and offer you some amazing views. The Exeter Chiefs rugby team based at Sandy Park is easily accessible using the local train route or a 10 minute drive away.
