Rustic Barn Conversion Nestled in the Countryside

Daisy Cottage is a charming holiday cottage nestled in the picturesque Peak District village of Carsington. The cottage has been lovingly converted from a Grade 11 listed barn. Brimming with character, the cottage provides a relaxed space to unwind with family or friends. Surrounded by pretty views, walks, and cycle tracks, and a fantastic village pub a short stroll away. The cottage offers two double bedrooms and a double sofabed in the living room. The space The Property Daisy Cottage has been lovingly converted from a Grade II listed barn, blending rustic charm with homely comfort. At its heart is a cosy living room with dining space, a well-equipped kitchen and a double sofa bed. There are two double bedrooms: one on the ground floor alongside the bathroom, and a second reached by a short flight of six steps. The ground-floor bedroom is snug, with limited space around the bed, so may feel tight if using mobility frames. The upstairs bedroom has a little more space and works well if you’d like to use the travel cot provided. A high chair is also available. From the kitchen, doors open out to a sunny enclosed garden with an outdoor table, chairs and a BBQ – the perfect spot for al fresco dining. The enclosed setting makes it ideal for letting dogs safely potter in and out off the lead. At the front of the cottage, you’ll find a second garden area with parking; this space is not enclosed. The cottage is surrounded by picturesque countryside, perfect for walkers, cyclists and anyone looking to relax in peaceful surroundings. A fantastic village pub is just a short stroll away, and there are plenty of trails to explore right from the doorstep. We’re dog-friendly too – well-behaved dogs are very welcome to join you, we just kindly ask that they don’t go on the furniture. Guest access Guests have full use of the cottage throughout their stay, including both bedrooms, the living areas, and front and back gardens. Entry is via a key code, so you’re free to arrive as late as you like without needing to coordinate with us. Where possible, we’re also happy to offer early check-in or late check-out — just let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate. Other things to note Other Things to Note Dogs are very welcome, but we kindly ask that they don’t go on the furniture. A travel cot and high chair are available for families. The upstairs bedroom has space to comfortably fit the cot. The rear garden is fully enclosed and perfect for dogs or children, while the front garden (where parking is located) is open. Daisy Cottage is mostly on one level, with the kitchen, living room, bathroom and one double bedroom all on the ground floor. The second double bedroom is reached by a short flight of six steps. The ground-floor bedroom is snug, with limited space around the bed, so it may feel tight if using mobility frames. The bathroom has a shower over the bath rather than a separate walk-in shower.
