HERE'S OURS ~ Little Audrey Guesthouse is owned by a truly amazing local couple - Paul & Marita - who know more things about Ivanhoe that most people in the area. Marita's mother loved the famous Skipping Girl affectionately known as 'Little Audrey' which has been officially declared a Victorian Heritage icon. Little Audrey Guesthouse was named in honour of Marita's mother and is home to it's very own Skipping Girl reproduction which greets you as you explore the gardens. The piece of art was made by a man in Adelaide and Marita found her at the Melbourne Garden Show a few years ago and it was an instant purchase. Little Audrey is mounted up high adjacent to the Guesthouse, to create an archway and perfect opportunity for you to share a selfie with it on your socials! Coincidentally, growing up, Marita's mother had a best friend. They were both dressmakers and met at 14 years of age when they started work together. Her friends name? None other than AUDREY! To ensure their comfort, we encourage guests to bring familiar items such as beds, bowls, and toys. A pet fee applies (please note this may not always be charged automatically on the final price and may be charged after booking confirmation). For the safety of your pets and the property, animals should not be left unattended unless securely crated. We accommodate up to two pets per stay, though we invite you to contact us directly should you have additional requirements. For full details, please review our House Rules before booking. ▶ CAR PARKING ◈ Free onsite secure parking for 1 car included in your booking ◈ Free & ample street parking ◈ Public transport is at your doorstep (Darebin Station) ▶ MINUT NOISE SENSOR There is a sensor inside the apartment living area. This is NOT a camera or recording device. It only collects information on noise levels, the environment (temperature and humidity) and occupancy (motion and the number of mobile devices in the vicinity). It does not record raw audio. The data is only presented as graphs and numbers, not images or recordings. ▶ HOW YOU WILL BE CHECKING IN (24/7) ◈ Lock box There is a fixed lock box on the premises. Please reach out to us if you have any questions about the check-in procedure. IMPORTANT: Our plants and garden are lovingly maintained to keep them vibrant and beautiful. For extended stays, our maintenance team may request permission to care for the indoor plants or tend to the outdoor lawn and garden. You’re welcome to decline, but if we’re unable to care for the indoor plants, we may kindly ask for your help in keeping them happy during your stay. Please, make yourself at home. Feel free to wonder around in the garden and use the custom made cubby house if you have little people to entertain! There's also an outdoor dining setting that's for your exclusive use during your stay. Other things to note SAME-DAY BOOKINGS We have a booking lead time 1 day in order to schedule housekeeping & check-in requirements for the following day. For this reason, we cannot always guarantee a check-in time of 3pm for last-minute bookings, especially where there is a departing guest. Priority is given to guests who have booked in advance and need to be checked in. EARLY CHECK-IN REQUESTS Looking to start your stay a little earlier? After booking and up to the morning of your arrival, you'll have the option to purchase an early check-in for your nominated time. This is subject to approval and will depend on departing guests. If you definitely require earlier access, consider booking the night before if it is still available at this time. LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS If you'd like to savour the final moments of your stay, there are options to purchase extended check-outs. This is subject to availability. PRIVATE SECURITY PATROL We have a private security company that regularly patrols this property to ensure appropriate guest behaviour. STARTER SUPPLIES Our spaces are fully stocked to ensure you have the comforts of home during your stay. This includes toiletries, fresh towels, tea, coffee, and kitchen essentials. We also provide a limited number of dishwasher and laundry pods. We provide enough of the above items to get you started and is not intended to last for the duration of your stay. If you run out during your stay, you can reach out to our team to find nearby stores and delivery services. Alternatively, you may order additional suppliers directly from us. BABY EQUIPMENT FOR HIRE For safety & hygiene reasons, we recommend our preferred Baby Hire companies for all your equipment needs during your stay. Please reach out for further information if required. LONG STAYS All stays 28+ nights must have at least one mid-stay cleaning service a month at an additional cost. This allows for our team to periodically clean, maintain, and inspect the property. This is non-negotiable. Please contact us if you'd like to make custom arrangements depending on how frequently you would like this service. AFFILIATION WITH RECEPTION & BUILDING CONCIERGE Where your property is located in a building with staff, please be advised that we are in no way affiliated with the operations of the building. Reception staff, building concierge and/or management will be unable to assist you with your booking in ANY capacity including baggage storage and key collection/drop off. Please contact us EXCLUSIVELY if you need to discuss your booking. APARTMENT WINDOW CLEANING Window cleaning is the Owner's Corporation responsibility. They manage these services according to a set schedule. Unfortunately, we have no control over the state of the external windows at all and apologise in advance if you happen to book at a time where they are in a state that requires cleaning. To ensure your privacy during scheduled window cleaning, we kindly ask that blinds be drawn in areas where cleaners may be working outside. POTENTIAL FOR NOISE This property is in a vibrant Melbourne neighbourhood. Guests may hear sounds including but not limited to traffic, construction, first responder sirens or nightlife.
