Welcome to our charming home on the lake. Here you will find 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. It sits directly in front of Lake Lacoma in East Dubuque, Il and is a short drive to Galena, IL and Dubuque, IA. The 2 private bedrooms along with the 2 couches sleeps up to six. On site we have a paddle boat, a canoe, and lifejackets for you to enjoy. There is a large deck overlooking the lake and lots of parking. Washer & Dryer. Recently Built Dock perfect for fishing. In the winter Ice Fishing is a must. This is an awesome place that includes canoes and a paddle boat along with other lake front living and activities. Need more watercraft then we provide? You are more then welcome to bring your own paddle boats, kayaks, or pontons for use on the Lake or bring your other power watercraft such as ski boats or jet skis which can be used in the Mississippi via the public boat ramps. We have plenty of parking for whatever watercraft you may have. The home itself has been recently updated and has all modern conveniences. There is a washer, dryer, water softener, refrigerator, range, over the range microwave, and dishwasher. The master bedroom has one king bed with memory foam mattress, a chest of drawers, a closet, and a 40" smart tv The second bedroom has a one queen bed with a memory foam mattress, a long dresser, and a 40" smartv. The living room has a very comfy leather couch, love seat, an ottoman, and a 42" smart tv. The bathroom has a just been completely redone with larger tub with tiled surround. We put in a double bowel vanity with large mirrors which give you lots of light. We also added a exhaust fan that has a built in Bluetooth speaker that you are able to connect to and play music while relaxing in the tub. You will have access to the entire home, yard, and beautiful Lake Lacoma. The garage is currently not available to guests. New in 2022 A Recently build dock is perfect in the summer for fishing. You have access to the entire home along with the boats and lake. We do require a wavier to be signed by anyone over the age of 18 that will be using the boats or lake. Please make sure to sign it prior to use. The garage is currently not available to guests. We do not generally interact with the guests face to face but both myself and husband can be reached basically 24/7 by call or text. If we miss a call or message we always respond as soon as possible. Feel free to ask us any questions about the house or anything about the surrounding area. This is smaller neighborhood with less then 10 homes along the road. There are a few restaurants and taverns that are less then a half mile away as well as a gas station and liquor store. Guests should note that there are active train tracks on the other side of the lake which can be bothersome for some however most people find them completely tolerable and a few people love it. Driving by personal vehicle is the most popular choice. There usually isn't much traffic in the area and parking is pretty easy to find. There are taxis and rideshare apps that are available as well. Anyone over the age of 18 will be required to sign a waiver prior to using the lake or the boats.
