Guesthouse in Portland
Description
In a garden behind our home, a comfortable bed beckons, sharing its visions through a very large window. Complete privacy and tranquility envelop this little cottage, that is nestled ever so quietly between two of Portland’s most walkable and desired districts, celebrated as Southeast Hawthorne & Division. … an urban retreat from your day to day life, you’ll want to call home during your stay. The space Ancillary Dreams is complete with a full kitchen, a small full bath, a lot of charm, and everything you need. The outside seating area is an added treat and once you are beyond the walls you will walk in either direction... ...both ways will shortly get you to amazing eateries, boutiques, places to admire, and drink good libations. You are just blocks to everything quintessentially Portland ...and very central to downtown. There are too many places to recommend without knowing what you like and seek, for that’s the way it is so close to the garden, the very large window, the comfortable bed, and exquisite dreams as you lay your head down, far from usual affairs. We want to address how we are managing Coronavirus (COVID-19) while you are visiting our Airbnb. Your health is our highest priority. We are taking this very seriously and are using hospital grade anti-bacterial cleaners on all surfaces including wiping door knobs, counter tops, tables, chairs, and remotes, in addition to the bathroom sink, shower, and toilets. Please know that if you are traveling and staying in our Airbnb that it will be clean and that we have focused on sanitation with the Coronavirus in mind. Guest access Ancillary Dreams is completely private. You may park in the driveway to load and unload, street parking is generous in front of the house (free and unrestricted). Enter into the patio area through a tall rustic gate at the top of the driveway. The front door is secured with an electronic keypad and no one else will share this space. Other things to note As of September, 2021, central air has been installed in the space, providing refuge from the warmest of days. In the kitchen you will find a Sonos speaker. It can be operated via smart phone if you’ve download the app and you’re connected to the local WiFi network. Andrea and Alex and their little ones live in the main house in front of Ancillary Dreams. Dan & Jackie are your co-hosts and request that you message them through Airbnb messaging with any questions or needs. Their phone number is 503-539-9985 in case you want to call.
