Tikøb is a cozy little village located in the kings' North Zealand, surrounded by beautiful nature and city. In Tikøb city you will find a supermarket with many local goods, a smokehouse/butcher where you can get cheap quality produce, a bakery and many farm shops with homemade produce. If you love nature, Tikøb is an ideal area for you! Tikøb is surrounded by colorful fields and forest (Horserød fence) with many bike and walking routes. (english description coming soon) The space Apartment is a separate unit of my house where I live myself. It consists of fully equipped kitchen/living room with dining area and smart TV with large TV package from boxer, bathroom with shower, washing machine and dryer as well as a bedroom with double bed (can be separated into two single beds) exit to lovely garden with barbecue and seating. Free internet, towels, linens, duvets, pillows, shampoo, 2 bikes, and more are provided. Pets are not allowed as I myself have dogs and chickens free. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment but can be freely done outside. Nearby you will also find Esrum lake and Gurre lake, which offers fantastic swimming and fishing opportunities, only 10 minutes by bike from the apartment. If you are more into city and culture, Tikøb is close to Hornbæk known for their beach and maritime city life, Fredensborg where Queen's summer residence Fredensborg castle is located, Espergærde with a cozy harbor environment and Helsingør where many culture gems are located such as Kronborg. If you don't have a car, you can easily get to these places by bike or bus, which is only 50 meters from the apartment. There is a bus to Espergærde, Hornbæk, Kvistgård and Helsingør. From Hornbæk you can take the local railway to Gilleleje, from the twig farm you can take the local railway to Hillerød where you can see Frederiksborg Castle. From Espergærde and Helsingør you can easily get to Copenhagen which by train only takes 35 min. Will be looking forward to having you stay! Other things to note Since the house is located on the main road between Hornbæk and Espergærde, there will be some traffic noise during the day.
