Hygge Lodge is a special place to stay in the heart of Cornwall in a peaceful spot with breathtaking views ofcountryside. 'Hygge' - Pronounced "hoo-ga," is a Danish concept and cannot be translated to one single word but encompasses a feeling of cozy contentment & well-being through enjoying the simple things in life. The space This wonderful little lodge is in an idyllic rural location in a 2 acre green field with outstanding countryside views. Relax in the hot tub and enjoy the sunset or breakfast outside on the decking. 5 minutes from the A30 gives a perfect base to explore all of Cornwall very easily, or just 10 minutes to the nearest beaches in St Agnes, or Porthtowan. Situated a stones throw from the Cornish Craft Barn; you can pop over and enjoy fresh coffees, crepes and cakes with a 25% discount during your stay. On the decking you'll find an outdoor sofa area which is perfect for relaxing on in the evening sun whilst you enjoy the view. The hot tub is a lay z spa cancun model and gives stunning views whilst enjoying the tub, please read further details on hot tub charge. Inside the king sized bed has a memory foam mattress and duck down duvet and pillows. The garden area is fenced but there is a gap under the gate so big dogs could escape if left unattended. Nearby across a car park is the Cornish craft barn with cafe serving coffees and lunches. Why not sign up for a fun craft/art workshop whilst you're on holiday! Nestled in a 2 acre field feel free to exercise your dog in the large grassy area whilst enjoying the amazing countryside views. The kitchen is fully modernised with Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher, induction hob, electric oven, fridge and freezer. Guest access Garden, patio area, parking area within gated fenced area and use surrounding field to exercise dog in if needed. Other things to note The hot tub is available only at an extra charge of £40 per stay to cover the extra time, water and electricity involved. If because of the timing with changeovers and previous guests we have to empty sanitise and refill the tub on the day of your arrival; it will not be hot enough to use on your first evening; but will be ready for your first morning. This payment of £40 will be payable by bank transfer directly to the owners 48 hours at least before your stay. Without this payment the hot tub will not be made ready. The owners will provide details of their bank account after your booking has been confirmed. YOU MUST INFORM THE OWNER USING AIR BNBN MESSAGING IF YOU WANT THE HOT TUB PLEASE. We have lots of information and free advice on local attractions, activities and locations to visit. We do sometimes accept a one night booking; so please ask if this is what you are looking for. Hygge Lodge is great for couples, solo travellers, business travellers and we welcome one well behaved dog. This is a small art/craft training centre with cafe across the car park open 9 - 4 Monday to Friday. You are welcome to visit and receive 25% off all cafe purchases during your visit. You have your own parking space within the gated/fenced area of the lodge. All the views etc from the lodge are down across the fields and therefore uninterrupted by anything from the cafe. In the colder months we provide one basket of wood with kindling enough for the one basket. Please bring your own wood if you require more.
