Enjoy the warmth of the Bukhari/Born-fire or gaze the stars. check us out on insta @timetrael The space We are located in the offbeat & rural set up of the Kumarhatti village of the Hallan Valley, which is about 18 Kms from Manali Town & 6 kms from Naggar Town. Hallan Valley is calm, peaceful, untouched & is usually lushful green, with varieties of huge trees, fruit Orchards & farms. In winters, it is mostly snow white with frequent snowfalls. There are some wildlife around, on the higher sides of the valley. Life is slow & beautiful here. Day starts with bird chirpings & water burbling, days are generally calm, silent & peaceful here, while everyone goes on work in the day time, you can start the day with some yoga or meditation in the garden or beramda or balcony or you wake up late after a sound sleep. Remember those good old days of your childhood & of your younger times, you would relive those. As the day rises, you can witness the dramatical views of the Pir Panjal Mountains due to beautiful play of sun & clouds, from the balcony or garden or beramda with finger licking delicious food served by our multicuisine cafe. View of the Pir Panjal changes very frequently, & day ends with the beautiful & colourful sunset behind the Pir Panjal range of Himalayas. You can spend the beautiful day while witnessing the sun cloud play & sunset, or play by yourself (indoor/outdoor games) or do some DIY & Arts or simply read a book in our mini library or do your usual work using our wifi or do a small hike to the last village or to the river side, or jungle or to the kuta meadow or to an abondoned village near by (many more hikes & treks can be done), as the day rises, you can help your hunger with the delicious food from our inhouse cafe. Either to do a lot of things or to do nothing and just relax yourself & take sunbath. As evening rises, we lit the bornfire with mellow Live Acoustic Music (both paid & optional), which takes you back in time (Paid but Must Try). You can either enjoy the bornfire & live music (subject to availability) or play some games, or silently enjoy the silence of human & sounds of nature (this can be done entire day), & then, you can have supper in the open garden cafe or at your room or at balcony & can spend some good time with your loved ones and with people around or with yourself only. In the night time, You can gaze the millions of the stars with plenty of shooting stars, beautiful moon, night lights of small hamlets, and the Himalayas. At last, you deserve a cozily sleep in your 100 year old kathkuni room, which is made up of wood & stone with almost no changes to the original structure, rooms are equiped with beds, blankets, sitout, & floor dining with heater & Tandoor (both paid & optional). There are total two rooms & one attic. First room is on the ground floor. Room has small old wooden door entrance, which opens to this big room, which has one queen size bed & sitout, which can easily accomodate a family of 3. The room has wooden walls, window, carpet, small cupboard, mellow & bright lights both. Wooden roof of the room is the floor of the second room. Interior of the room is classic & old, which takes you back in the time, people love to play old school music. Second room is on the first floor & you take around 8 steps on wooden stairs to reach to it. Stairs take you to the balcony and once climbed, you witness the magical view of the Pir Panjal range. You can sit with your friends or all by yourself in the balcony. Balcony's Kathkona (Wooden Corner) has the unobstructed views of the Pir Panjal, which dramatically changes very frequently due to beautiful play of the sun & clouds and you may love to see it entire day peacefully. Our second room opens at the balcony. This room has small wooden door, which opens to the big room, which has one queen size bed & sitout with floor dining & can easily accomodate 4-5 people alongwith attic space. This room has carpet, mud walls, window, mellow & bright light both, tandoor (fire place) & a TV with Netflix, Prime Video, Youtube etc. and the stair case to the attic hatch, which opens to the attic. Wooden roof of the room is floor of the Attic. Attic has good space covered with carpet, with floor bedding & accomodate 2 people comfortably. Attic has wooden logs roof, which is the base for the slates on top. Attic is adequately ventilated, as there are small gaps between wooden logs & slates (made from rocks). Slates are placed properly on the wooden logs, and rain or snow do not come in, but can be felt pouring, which heals naturally, stabillize the thoughts & helps in the mental health. Attic has classic & old vibe, with a mud based fire place, as attic of the kathkuni houses, used to be the kitchen in the older days. You are going to have the best sleep of your life & you are going to remember this forever, you will sleep like a baby with no disturbance from human made noises, & next day, you will wake up refreshed & rejunevated. You might have to restart the thoughts as you might wake up calm, relaxed & blank. We aim to take you back in time, when people used to live & sleep, worryless in old houses, made up of resources provided by nature. We aim to keep you close to the nature, while ensuring, you dont have to compromise on your comfort level and you are relaxed, refreshed, reset & rejunevated. Your stay with us would be a memorable experience of time travel, which will also heal you inside out, & help you to improve your mental health. Your stay with us would be a privilege to us. To ensure that you have a happy & filled tummy, we serve multi cuisine food, which can be ordered from our food menu. 2. Our usual kitchen timings are 9:30 AM - 8:30 PM (Last Order). For any kitchen related services beyond the usual time is subject to Kitchen Staff availability and shall be agreed with Sanjeev Bhai (Care Taker & Chef). Please be polite with him & other staff. 3. We can curate the Yoga, Meditation, Art & Craft, Live Acoustic Music & Healing sessions (subject to availability) for you, if you want to opt for any, kindly let us know in advance, along with your expectations from the sessions, & we will get it done. (Paid and Optional). 4. Please carry your sleepers. 5. Smoking is prohibited inside the room. 6. Footwear are not allowed inside the rooms or in balcony, entire property has carpet. 7. Room Heater is available on charge basis. (Subject to availability) 8. Wood fire (Wood Burner & Born-fire) is available on Charge basis. (Subject to wood availability) 9. Govt. ID proof is mandatory of all the guests prior to check in. Early check in and late check out is aubject to room availability, please confirm with us. 10. Property has 2 extremely friendly dogs and they easily get along, enjoy with them. 11. We have tried our best to keep the original structure intact, while renovating, we made sure that we don't make any significant modification to the original structure, hence, we could not construct attached washroom and washrooms are outside the ground floor room.
