A peaceful, spacious room with high ceilings and large windows, reached under the giant stained-glass dome at the top of this historic, characterful house. The space Bedroom Four has an art-deco styled shower room with a spacious, powerful shower. The interior of the house is grand but charming, with features including a giant stained-glass dome above the handmade timber staircase. Outside, the gardens are surrounded by tall trees and visited by red squirrels, hedgehogs and lots of birds. We try to be environmentally friendly. And we’ll always be dog-friendly. Our beautiful 12-year-old staffie, Molly, insists on that. Heathpark House is situated in Rosemount, on the edge of the working market town of Blairgowrie. It's on the border of the wild Cairngorms National Park. You'll also be a short drive from great wood and forest walks, Glamis Castle, Scone Palace, Dunkeld, Dundee, Perth, the Angus Glens and much more. There's great local golf too, including championship courses at Blairgowrie Golf Club, Perth Racecourse and other sports. Guest access Heathpark House is set back from one of the main roads into Blairgowrie. We're 30 minutes north of the cities of Perth and Dundee, and less than a 1 hour 30 minute drive from Edinburgh. Glasgow and Aberdeen. Guests can park in the grounds for free, and there's free parking around Blairgowrie. During your stay We want to give you your space, but want to make your stay special and can advise on days out, walks with or without a dog, and local restaurants and cafes. Other things to note We provide free WiFi and a book with recommended local walks and restaurants, including those that offer vegetarian/vegan food and welcome people with dogs.
