Cozy 1600 sqft contemporary Adirondack home in Northville on 3.7 private acres and includes access to 10 feet of lake frontage on the Great Sacandaga Lake. Lake access is just a short walk up a quiet dirt road. There are no major roads to cross to get to the lake access. The house is surrounded by trees and the wraparound porch is perfect for your morning coffee. Note: map coordinates on Airbnb map aren't correct The space This home consists of 3 bedrooms, a loft, 2 full bathrooms, and an open concept living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prep your family breakfast, lunch or dinner (including coffee pot, microwave, pots /pans, dinnerware, cooking utensils etc). There is a kitchen island with high-top seating for 4 and additional seating for six at the dining table. The living area features cathedral ceilings and sliding door access to the wraparound porch. Play a game of chess or choose from our array of fun family games left for you to enjoy. Watch a flick on the large Flat screen TV with access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and many other streamed networks. There is a Flat screen TV in the living area, loft area, and the downstairs bedroom. A 9ft brunswick pool table, ping pong table, and foosball table are available for your use in the unfinished basement as well. House has heat and central air conditioning , WiFi, and washer and dryer (located in basement). Accomodations: House comfortably sleeps 10 comfortably. -Lower level bedroom #1 with King bed has access to the wraparound porch via sliding door (sleeps 2) -Queen bedroom #2 is upstairs (sleeps 2) -Queen bedroom #3 is upstairs (sleeps 2) -Open loft area bed area #4 includes two bunk beds (sleeps 4) - additional full size mattress available in upstairs bedroom closet - additional toddler bed available -Bathroom #1 is located downstairs across from King bedroom -Bathroom #2 is located upstairs Other amenities: Gas grill Washer and Dryer located in unfinished basement as well as a Pool Table, foosball table, and paddle ball table. There is Wi-Fi. Guest access There are two kayaks and life vests available for your use. If you bring your own kayaks, you can drive up to our access, up to where the grass starts, and just carry them the remainder of the way (very feasible). You will be able to leave your kayaks on our strip of land for your entire stay (best to leave by our Adirondack chairs). Please note that each individual that plans to use our kayaks must sign a liability waiver. Local area: Plan your Adirondack Park experience with the endless winter activities the Adirondacks has to offer such as Hiking, Snowmobiling, Ice fishing, Sledding, Snowshoeing, Ice skating, Cross country skiing , and Downhill skiing. -Lapland Lake Cross Country Ski center is 20 mins away, -Northville-Placid Hiking Trail -Gore Mountains is 45 mins away, -Oak mountain is 30 mins away, -Lake George -Saratoga Springs -Speculator -Lake Placid -Saranac Lake -Breweries Take a short 5 minute drive to the northville village for a bite to eat. While you're there, visit the oldest five and dime in America, gift/souvenirs shops, or local grocery store. Other things to note The wood burning stove in the living room is not being used due liability issues. House is fully heated. Security deposit: credit card will remain on airbnb file for damage claims. This includes disregard of home policies (i.e. smoking residue in home & furniture and no pet policy etc)
