PANTRY 🥫There’s a (FREE to use as needed) well stocked pantry of essentials. SEAFOOD 🐟 Due to lingering fish odour, please cook ALL seafood outdoors on the electric bbq grill provided. WASHING FACILITIES 🫧 Included in your kitchen, is a Westinghouse 9kg front load washing machine. 🌏 EARTH Choice and BOSISTO’S Sensitive Eucalyptus liquid laundry detergents supplied. 🇦🇺 Australian made & owned. ENTRY There are two entrances and a double carport for your sole use. 🔑 The SIDE entrance is where the lockbox is located. ⬅️ Your side entrance is via the steps to the left of the carport. 🚪Your other entry is under the carport. OUTDOORS 🪑 Outdoor table and chairs have been provided along with additional sitting areas. OUTBUILDING 👕 Westinghouse 6.5kg tumble clothes dryer. If needed, the dryer is in the garden shed outbuilding in your space. (The only place I was able to supply it.) 👖 Choice of two clotheslines for your personal use. One wall mounted, and a longer clothesline under your carport. 🌳 This is a large property that allows you to have plenty of private space to yourself. AIM 🎯 To provide a comfortable home away from home, relaxing space, for your next holiday, fishing trip, weekend break or beach getaway. Guest access ACCESS 🚗The driveway lane is PARTLY shared by the other residence. They turn off at the start, as they have their own access. 🔚You continue up the lane to your carport and accommodation. PARKING 🅿️ Parking is free and secure. The double carport is for your sole use. 🚤 There’s also ample parking on the property for a boat/ caravan or motor home etc. 🧚‍♀️ Fairy lights under the carport and along the fence are electric and can be turned on/off as preferred. Other things to note GENERAL 🗓️ I provide short term stay accommodation for 2 guests only. (Maximum 3 nights.) 💦 All residences in South Arm, including us are on tank water. 🛒 COLES and Woolworths will deliver online grocery orders to your door. ELECTRIC VEHICLES 🚘 No EV charging allowed. There’s a charging station available at Glebe Hill Shopping Village (27kms away). 🚗 UBER Eats deliveries are NOT available to South Arm. PETS I part-time dog sit for a family member. This shouldn’t have any impact on your stay, as the dog is ENTIRELY separated from you. 🐈 There is a residential cat. Poppy. She is a rescue cat and is very shy. BEACHES 🏊Spring beach - only access is off the track - approx 5 minute walk from Bnb. 🏊‍♂️South Arm beach - approx 5 minute drive. 🌊Hope beach is 5kms long, suits surfing, beach combing - approx 5 minute drive. 🏊‍♂️Fort beach - approx 3 minute drive. 🏊‍♀️Pot beach - secluded. Only access - approx 15 minute walk from end of Fort beach. (On the way to the look out point for the Iron Pot Lighthouse). 🏊‍♀️Opossum Bay beach - approx 10 minute drive. Etc. SOUTH ARM CONSERVATION 🪸 South Arm’s Marine Conservation Area is located in Ralphs Bay, this area is home to tidal sand flats, microalgae, invertebrates, and shallow sediments. 🪺 It's also a vital habitat for shorebirds, such as sandpipers, pied oystercatchers, and red-capped plovers. 🪶 The area is especially important for migratory shorebirds, including the eastern curlew, which is endangered in Tasmania. Tangara Trail 👣 This trail leads from Mortimer Bay Coastal Reserve to the South Arm Conservation Area. Steps lead down to the track. (See photo in listing). ⤵️ Down off the steps is little Spring beach with a pontoon. ⬅️ GOING LEFT ON TRACK 👣 Walking LEFT along the track will lead you to: * Playground and swimming beach. From the end of Fort beach you can continue a longer walk to: * Cape Deliverance- Lone Pine Memorial. * Pot Beach. * Cape Direction- to view the Iron Pot Lighthouse and mouth of the Derwent Estuary.
