The deck and studio have great privacy; there is even a private entry into the backyard for you. Kitchenette is perfect for short term travelers or longer term tenants who are good without an oven. Perfect for busy traveling professionals/nurses/grad student. It has great proximity to the hospitals. Please inquire about longer term stays and monthly discounts/cost. Month long minimum stay (except 8/15-9/7 week long min stay available), perfect for SRNAs, residents/interns, traveling nurses, professionals in training, or business travel. This is a new remodel with everything you need for a stay as long as you aren't cooking a large family meal; there is no stove, but we have a hot plate (with pots and pans) and a crock pot available. One of our guests was a whiz with his Ninja multicooker and here for 2 years. There is a coffee maker, as well as a toaster, microwave and 3/4 size refrigerator. There is a simple desk space available for working or study. The deck off of your apartment is private just for you. We have a shared backyard that you are completely welcome to hang out on the patio. Private studio apartment to yourself. We are available for advice on what to do around town, or please feel free to contact us if you feel like there are any amenities you feel we are lacking. If you see us in the back yard please say hi. Sleepy Hollow is a charming neighborhood with old fashioned street lights and our creek as mentioned before. We neighbor College Hill with many charming houses, shaded streets for peaceful walks. I decided to move here because of its proximity to everything. Do checkout Clifton Square for one of best burger bars in town, Ziggy's Pizza, or the creamery for ice cream. Also Revolutsia is Wichita's new shipping container mall with Prost beerhouse and authentic German food. Shops and Little Lion Cafe has amazing house made ice cream as well. We have many suggestions for ways to spend your days in Wichita if you are interested. Also I have to mention George's French Bistro, it has wonderful food and a great atmosphere. Wichita is a very easy city for driving, and we're located in the center of it all. Downtown is about 5 minutes away, as well as shopping and restaurants on Rock Road. The airport is only about 13 minutes away. Wichita has the Bike Share ICT program, and recently added motorized scooters if that's your thing. Again, if you like to get out and walk, or jog I suggest College Hill, about 4 blocks to the south. Public transit runs along Central (3 blocks away), and there is a free shuttle to downtown and beyond on Douglas, you can pick it up in Clifton Square. We'd love for longer term stays, and if you're looking for more than a month or couple months into the future please ask us if it doesn't immediately look available. We only have the place open to a couple months at a time in hopes that we'll have an open schedule for longer term stays. If you're traveling for work or grad school we'd love to have you.
