Waterfront Guesthouse I on the Rappahannock

The “Bay House” is a guest cottage at Snug Harbor, a 2 acre private property overlooking the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay. Perfect for a couple’s getaway, this well-appointed cottage has a beautiful Bay view and includes access to our private beach & dock (w/ guest slip) with use of our paddle boards and kayaks. The cottage’s 1st floor features an open liv/din/kit area, full bath w/ jetted tub, covered patio and carport. The 2nd floor features a large bedroom, king bed and 1/2 bath. The space Come relax and enjoy the views of the Rappahannock River and the Chesapeake bay. Swim, fish, crab or paddle from our private beach and dock. Nature abounds around our little point with otters, deer, dolphins, eagles, herons, ospreys and swans. Guest access Snug Harbor guests have access to the whole private yard, beach and dock. Guests also have access to the kayaks, paddle boards, paddles and life vests located on the beach. The beach has two Adirondack chairs and two chaise lounges for quest use. The dock has two Adirondack chairs and a bench for our guests. Perfect spots to relax with a morning cup of coffee or an afternoon drink. The dock also has a guest slip with lines available. 4' draft. Other things to note Unfortunately we are unable to accept reservations with children under the age of 12 because of an unfenced pool on the property.
