Located within an hour of both downtown Halifax and the YHZ airport, and only two minutes to the general store with a liquor boutique and bait & tackle shop, this is the perfect Nova Scotian getaway for couples or small families. Guest access While you’re staying here, the house will be your private oasis. Before arrival, guests will be given a unique code to access the home. Please note: the property is equipped with outdoor security cameras. The host reserves the right to cancel reservations due to unauthorized guests, pets or if other rules aren’t followed. Kayaks are only available to guests who first sign a waiver. Other things to note Falls Lake Resort is a privately-owned community of cottages and homes with full-time residents who enjoy the peace and tranquility that Falls Lake offers. If you are looking for a place to party or hold an event, this is NOT the place for you. However, if you are looking for a place to simply enjoy a relaxing weekend surrounded by nature and beauty, we are happy to welcome you to Hope House. Hope House is conveniently located close to Ski Martock, OnTree Ziplining Park, Bent Ridge Winery, Sherwood Golf & Country Club, Hants Community Hospital, and the quaint town of Windsor. Two minutes down the road, there is a convenience store with gas station, liquor boutique, takeout food (seasonal), and a bait & tackle shop! PLEASE NOTE: — Kayaks are available for guest use at your own risk. A signed waiver is required prior to use. Life jackets must be worn at all times. — There are security cameras that monitor the exterior of the property. Your privacy is very important to us, therefore, once the identity of registered guests can be verified, the cameras are either disarmed or notifications are turned off and video clips are deleted (and not viewed) after successful check-out. Please do not unplug the security cameras. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know. — We are in a condominium community with rules and bylaws that protect the peaceful, friendly atmosphere that Falls Lake Resort is famous for. As such, we have a policy that guests must have a history of 5-star reviews to be considered for their stay. Thank you for your understanding. — The Resort is home to cottages, Airbnbs, and full-time residents. As such, you may see neighbours and their dogs, or hear lawnmowers or yard work.
