51 Poinsettia Ave. Located on a quiet no exit street 5-10 minutes walk from the supermarket, shops, restaurants and bars of Holetown and even closer to the owner's association Beach Club which has a pool, beach access, and changing rooms. The advertised price is for the Master and Queen bedrooms, an additional fee for a reservation that includes the 3rd bedroom (x2 single beds) may be payable. The space This property catches the available breeze better than many in the area, is quiet at night while being a short walk away from the supermarket, beach club swimming pool, cafe and most importantly the beach. With 3rd bedroom, covered verandahs and BBQ area it feels like the property is now able to expand as required enabling members of the extended family or friends and their children to join our vacations and enjoy the west coast beaches, the leisure facilities of the residents association, golf and nightlife of Holetown. A/C units are provisioned in all of the bedrooms, ceiling fans are installed in all the main rooms of the house. The advertised price is for the Master and Queen bedrooms, access to the 3rd bedroom will incur a supplementary fee. Discounts may be available to bookings only requiring preparation / provision and access to the main master bedroom. Guest access The entire property is available for guests as per the needs of the reservation. 51 Poinsettia's advertised price is dependent on the number in a guests in a reservation, access to bedrooms and the provisioning of sheets and towels will provided as per the needs and description of the group as described at the time of booking. Our cottage is set up to cater for a guest booking maximum of 4 adults and 4 children. CORONA VIRUS, The Sunset Crest association controls access to the communal facilities including the beach club and swimming pool, access may be limited or removed at short notice as a measure of Covid protection. Other things to note Sunset Crest is ideally serviced with a supermarket, mini department store, boutique shopping, cafe's, multiple restaurants / bars and of course multiple beach access points. With wide availability of taxis and island tour options including surf safaris we advise that a rental car may not be necessary. The swimming pool is located at the Sunset Crest owners association Beach Club, an easy 3 to 5 min walk from the property. Access to the Beach Club is by security card, we have purchased sufficient membership (security cards) to enable up to 8 guests + supervised children under the age of 12 access to the Beach Club. The Barbados government recently imposed a 10% 'tourist tax' on the guests of rental properties instructing (advising) property owners to levy this tax on to guests. Our advertised rate is inclusive of this tax. The property is provisioned with internet, WiFi and a television Air Conditioning units are only provisioned in the bedrooms. A laundry room / washing machine and drying area is available onsite and a linen change including fresh towels can be prearranged as required. Mosquitoes are the ever present downside of the Caribbean, unfortunately Barbados suffers from reoccurring outbreaks of Dengue and Chikungunya, incidents of the Zika virus have also been reported. DEET based insect repellent is the most effective and should be applied frequently.
