The Space The suite is designed to make 2 people perfectly at home. Comfortable, modern furniture and uplifting art invite you to recharge in complete privacy. Fully equipped kitchenette: Keurig coffeemaker, two countertop induction cooktops, barbecue on the porch, toaster oven, microwave, fridge, and everything else you need to cook your meals here. Organic coffee and tea are available for you. The bedroom suite has a queen-sized, carpenter oak bed with a medium firm high quality eco mattress with a (removable) memory foam topper. An extra, comfortable single bed (memory foam mattress with collapsible bed frame) can be made available upon request. The sitting room/kitchen is a well-appointed, small space where the extra mattress just so fits. More often, guests add the extra bed to the master bedroom suite which is more spacious. Our studio can sleep three, but it will be tight. If you get along really well, a third person can be accommodated. There will be an extra charge of $30 for a 3. guest. Guest access Guest Access Private entry over the separate porch. 5 steps lead into the yard from the partly shaded parking spots, and 7 steps up to your studio entrance. Self-Check-in, possible any time after 3 pm with keypad access. Apart from a comfy and functional small living room/kitchen, two private outdoor porches, a spacious master bedroom suite with an ensuite full bath, a private laundry room, and plenty of storage space are available for your convenience. The suite offers a queen bed in the master bedroom plus an extra twin bed which can be set up in the sitting area or the bedroom upon request. Both beds are very comfy. The suite is ideal for a two people. Friends who get along really well can share the space with 3 people, but it will be cozy. Please ask us for more info if you are considering to come with a 3. person. An extra fee of $30/night will be charged for the 3. guest. We offer Streaming TV (Amazon Fire) in the living room with a multitude of movies, shows and channels incl. Paramount, Showtime, Max and PBS with some live channels. We don’t have Cable. Of course, you can log into your own apps, like Netflix, Hulu, etc. The suite is on the lower level, completely disconnected (including cooling and heating systems) and private, and well sound insulated from the main house. It is truly designed to make you feel at home away from home. Other things to note Day (or half day) adventures we like (there are hundreds more)! Hiking & exploring close to Sedona: - Munds Wagon, Hangover and Schnebly Hill Trails in Sedona's North East - Hiline Trail, and Coconino- Slim Shady- Made in the Shade- Slim Shady- Coconinoi Loop In Sedona's South West - Baldwin Loop, West Fork and West Clear Creek Trails, hike and play around gorgeous Oak Creek Hiking & exploring a little further out: - Dogie Trail into Sycamore Canyon (ca. 40 minute drive) - Grand Canyon (ca 4 hr drive one way) (Please always make sure to take good profile shoes, a hat, sun protection, plenty or water and snacks when hiking around Sedona! Cultural Sites: - Honanki and Palatki: South West of Sedona, close to West Sedona - Montezumas Castle: South West of Sedona (ca. 40 min drive) - Canyon DeChelley (ca. 4 hr drive one way; North East on Navajo land) Shopping/ Sightseeing - Old town Cottonwood: Restaurants and small shops on North Main Street (ca 25 min. drive), less touristy as the Sedona "strip" in uptown Sedona - Jerome: Galleries, restaurants and small shops. Charming mining Ghost town on Mingus mountains, follow 89A South for ca 40 min. Great views of the Verde valley and RedRock country - Flagstaff, beautiful high altitude college town and ski resort, follow 89A North for ca 40 min through stunning Oak Creek Canyon and up the switch backs. Cute old town section w/good restaurants and small shops; Train tracks along route 66. Good hiking around the city as well.
