Enjoy this charming two-bedroom apartment in our 19th century home. We have recently modified the floorplan and space with your ease and comfort in mind. This apartment is located a few minutes away from I-77 near downtown New Philadelphia. Walking in the home, you will enter the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker available for use. A small assortment of coffees and teas are provided. Basic cooking pots and pans, utensils, and dinnerware for 8 are stocked. The kitchen table is perfect for mealtimes, game nights, or workspace. Attached to the dining area is the bathroom with a standard-size shower. In the bathroom vanity you will find a hairdryer and a first aid kit. Fresh white towels are provided. Through the dining area is the bright and open living room. The living room has a sofa, a swivel chair, and massage chair. A large TV has Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus accounts for your enjoyment. A desk is available as a workspace or can be used as a vanity for getting ready. Attached to the living room are two separate bedrooms. 3 Amish-made, queen luxury elite pillowtop mattresses are made up with fresh white linens and extra pillows. Each of the bedrooms has either a closet or wardrobe for hanging clothes. You will find an iron and ironing board in one closet. Both bedrooms feature space heaters for extra warmth if so desired. Light blocking curtains may help you catch a few more winks of sleep. One bedroom opens up to a quaint front porch with comfortable seating and twinkle lights. This space is excellent for morning coffee and reading, or quiet romantic nights. Off-street parking in the carport adjoining the home is designated for you. This driveway can fit 2 or 3 vehicles. Please do not block the garage doors or park in the parking spots behind the house, these are reserved. Street parking is also available. While visiting the area, there are several attractions to enjoy. You can visit nearby Amish country, catch a show at Kent State's Performing Arts Center, or check out the numerous local wineries and breweries. Tuscora Park, a well known family favorite, is only a few blocks away. This park has several playgrounds, a duck pond with Pavillion, several rides, and a swimming pool and concession area open seasonally. While staying, please keep in mind that this home is over a hundred years old, giving it some character. If able, enjoy the opportunity to stroll down the street towards the courthouse and take in the amazing architecture of neighboring century homes. Guest access 2 or 3 vehicles can park comfortably in the carport area that adjoins the house. Street parking is also available. Please do not block the garage doors in the rear of the home or park in parking spots behind the home, these are reserved. There are 4 steps going into the apartment. The whole apartment is on the first floor. Other things to note There are 4 steps to climb at the entrance to the apartment, then the whole apartment is on one floor. While this apartment is private, please be respectful to other guests on the property. Guests have access to this whole apartment, except the basement and a few closets that are used for storage.
