Rosedale country escape with pool, large boma

Come and relax at this homely, hidden gem. This quaint cottage will help you forget your city worries and give you time and space to breathe fresh country air. Walk in our gardens of over 300 Rose bushes, sip a cocktail at the edge of the pool or barbeque your favorite meal in the large separate undercover entertainment area - The Boma. Pick fresh herbs from our veggie garden for your gin or salads. Snuggle in our plush linen & dream sweet dreams under cozy duvets. 5 Mins from Notties The space This farm-style cottage sits in a very large private garden and consists of 3 bedrooms and 2,5 bathrooms in the main house and another 1 x full bathroom in the boma / entertainment area. You will find a Cozy TV lounge with dining area and another more formal lounge for those night caps or game nights. A separate kitchen with everything you need is off the main living area. The Kitchen is well equipped from a blender to a can opener with a gas/electric oven and stove, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, fridge/freezer and all the crockery, cutlery, baking dishes including AMC Classics pots and pans. Master bedroom is en-suite with Bath tub, Shower, Basin and Loo. An extra bonus of a "his" loo and basin is separate. A Super-King bed with enormous wardrobes and a pull out single bed is also in the master suite. The second spacious room has an extra-length queen bed, and shares a bathroom with room 3 which has a standard queen bed. We added in another double bed just off the lounge area - suitable for a teenager and friend to share. It is semi-private and has a door off the TV lounge for privacy. Plush duvets will make you lie in extra long to enjoy your stay. The patio off the main house has a 4 seater dining area and a large daybed to relax and read a book. In the garden you will find another 6 seater set to relax under the trees or bake in the sun. In the outdoor entertainment (the Boma or Lapa) area you will find a full second outdoor-type kitchen with everything you need to make a traditional South African bbq with pots and pans, cutlery , crockery, glassware, braai grids, kettle, microwave oven, Jetmaster braai and a 2 plate gas stove. A full pub area with bar chairs, sofas, ottomans and a 6 to 8 seater dining area. The boma can open completely onto the garden and pool area but on those misty nights it can zip closed and for extra warmth we supply a gas outdoor heater for this area upon request and will be at a small fee. The entertainment area is equipped with a dartboard, backgammon and various other games for entertainment. Secure parking and an undercover carport is free to our guests. Guest access Guest will access the main gate, but needs to keep the driveway clear of vehicles. The host shares the same entrance and driveway. Other things to note As this is an agricultural neighborhood and thus the sound of birds and cargo trains going by are the only load sounds around. We will not tolerate any noise of any sorts and expect our guests to enjoy the peace and quiet area with respect. Violation to this rule will result in you being asked to leave and you will forfeit any payments and / or deposits.
