The space We have a modern Twizel home with plenty of room for entertaining. Being close to town means you can get to wherever you need easily by walking or biking. The vast outdoor area makes it the ideal spot for a family or friends gathering. Twizel is a superb spot to spend days at the lake enjoying the warm summer weather. Or being cosy in the house 40 mins to Ohau ski field during winter. It’s a great holiday destination. Guest access Walking, biking and scootering are all great ways to get around the Twizel township. The super market is a 2 minute walk, aswell as local cafes and restaurants. Lake Ruataniwha is only a 5 minute drive. Be sure to check out the lagoon for a great place to swim with the family. Fishing is on your back door with any of the local canals or rivers. And the Alps to Ocean cycle trails lead North to either Mount Cook or south to the Clay Cliffs in Omarama.
