Charming house, quality, careful Pyrenean decoration and complete equipment. A cozy, warm and comfortable home for 2 to 6 people, for the whole family or for a couple. Magnificent sunny views next to the center of the Villa de Benasque (300 m or 3 min. walk) in a peaceful and prestigious development with large gardens and summer pool. Townhouse with bucolic attic, garden and garage (ski-bike storage). Wi-Fi, Hi-Fi and Movistar +. Unique in Benasque. The space Chardín d'Alto is not an impersonal house with standard equipment. It is designed for those looking for all the comforts of their own home, complete and modern equipment, but in a genuine mountain home, romantic, family (ideal for parents and children of any age) and that has a careful and quality decoration, warm, comfortable and that reminds you that you are in the valley of Benasque, in the Pyrenees, through the presence, here and there, of traditional Valbenasque furniture and decorative elements of Pyrenean theme or tradition. Chardín d'Alto is living 3 minutes away, walking, from the center of Benasque, but not between its narrow streets, but enjoying spaciousness, wonderful mountain views and peace, relaxation and the gardens of Residencial San Antón, the most prestigious development of townhouses in Benasque. It is to enjoy a private and closed residential development that hosts a harmonious set of traditional Benasque-style houses (dominated by stone, slate and wood) around an extensive, wooded meadow with a summer pool, which offers an appetizing solarium, peaceful shaded corners and ample space for the safe play of the little ones. The house has two sunny facades and fantastic views of the mountain and the valley and its meadows: the east-southeast facade (E-SE) has sun from dawn until the beginning of the afternoon; the west-northwest (W-NO) has afternoon sun. The building consists of a ground floor, two raised floors and a bucolic Benasque attic: * The 1st floor consists of a living-dining room with terrace (E-SE) and a wooded terrace-garden (W-NW), hall and kitchen. - The living area, with a large window towards its E-SE terrace (equipped with awning and furniture), is centered on a large fireplace open on two sides and with a glazed and retractable door (ASK about the possibility of its use). It is equipped with a sofa and two armchairs, TV and video and HI-FI equipment. In addition, it communicates through the hall, with a W-NW oriented terrace-garden, wooded, furnished and intimate (closed with high cypress hedge), the summer living room. - The dining area has a table for 6 diners (7 would be uncomfortable). - The kitchen, with its own window (W-NW) and semi-independent from the living-dining room by a bookcase, is equipped with a ceramic hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave, extractor hood, refrigerator ***, Nesspreso coffee maker, water heater, toaster, minipimer, juicer, pressure cooker (2 capacities), fondue equipment and all kinds of kitchen and dining utensils. It is complemented by the laundry-ironing room located on the ground floor, which has a countertop with a sink, a high-speed washing machine, a large-capacity dryer, an ironing board, an iron, a vacuum cleaner, etc. * The 2nd floor has a bedroom (with its own bathroom, with shower, double bed (180 x 200), its own balcony (E-SE) and TV with Movistar +) and a full bathroom on the staircase and next to the living room. * The attic, on the 3rd floor, consists of a full bathroom and two bedrooms: one with two single beds (190 x 80) and a sofa bed (200x90), TV, Lucan and low Velux (E-SE); the other with two single beds (190 x 80) and Velux (W-NE) of medium height. It has its own door on the staircase which makes it like an independent apartment inside the house. * The ground floor is divided between the garage (and ski-bicycle storage) and the laundry-ironing room. The garage has an automatic door with remote control. It supports cars up to 5 m long and 180 m high and allows you to store bicycles and ski equipment. The development also has numerous outdoor parking spaces. All bedrooms feature thick curtains, low lights, a closet with shelves and hangers, and a TV (except one). Their beds are equipped with very comfortable mattresses, high-quality percale and duvets. All the rooms in the house have Wi-Fi connectivity. The router is in the living room. The bathrooms have thermostatic valves in the shower and/or bathtub and high-quality cotton textiles for each guest. Heating and DHW (domestic hot water) is supplied by a high-power, maximum safety propane gas boiler (supplemented by a 300 l hot water heater to ensure a fast and constant flow of hot water). The general and maximum temperature of the house is regulated by a thermostat located in the living room. In addition, each room has a radiator with a thermostatic valve, which allows the room temperature to be reduced at will regardless of the maximum temperature set on the general thermostat (e.g.: in the living area it is usually more desirable to have more heat than in the bedrooms). The garage also has a radiator to avoid temperature contrasts with the rest of the house. The regulation of the house's temperature is completed by the door with automatic closing spring that each floor has on the staircase. These doors have a dual purpose: to prevent the heat of a floor from being lost by ascending to the upper floors by the staircase (a normal effect in the villas of several floors and that causes the heat to accumulate on the last floor while the lower floors remain cold); and to soundproof the different floors with each other to facilitate rest. The Hall also has a door that separates it from the living room in order to preserve it from the cold that in winter often causes the entrance door of the house to open. Guest access The development has large common areas (with gardens, swimming pool and parking lots on private roads) that guests of my house can enjoy. Other things to note You will receive the house at a temperature of at least 22º. But you can regulate the heat you want during your winter stay. To do this, you have a powerful heating system, with aluminum water radiators, even in the garage, whose temperature you can regulate to your liking for the whole house (with the "manual" function of the general thermostat that is in the living room) and in each bedroom, with the thermostatic valve of its respective radiator. In addition, each floor has a door on the staircase with the double purpose of isolating noise and regulating the temperature of the house. If you keep them closed, each floor and room will maintain the temperature you have chosen on the general thermostat (in the villas with more than one floor and lacking those doors, the heat tends to rise up the stairs to the upper floors, leaving the ground floor colder). Domestic hot water is supplied at 50º (by the same boiler as the heating, which has a reserve of 300 liters) and the showers and bathtubs have comfortable thermal valves. One of the decorative elements of the living room is its beautiful fireplace, whose only use is aesthetic. Every year, mountain houses are set on fire by inexperienced or irresponsible use of fireplaces, not to mention the risk of burns among small people. After heavy snowfalls, the snow accumulated on the roof will fall off several times, in a certain amount and suddenly, so you have to watch that fall (it is noisy and not dangerous). That snow will pile up in front of the house, the garage door, which is a private area. If it needs to be removed (preferably before it freezes), there are shovels and salt in the garage. The snow on the streets is cleaned by the community.
