The Blackbird 1905 church mountain getaway

Our historic property is nestled in beautiful Crowsnest Pass, Southern Alberta. Built in 1905, the church has been renovated into a gorgeous vacation home. Sleeping up to 12, perfect for a multi family holiday, or golf weekend. We live in a mountain playground of biking, hiking, ski-ing, fly fishing and back country adventures. Or just snuggle up by the wood burning fireplace. 2.5 hours from Calgary, 40 minutes to Fernie ,B.C. And close to Castle mountain as well. Welcome to the Blackbird! The space The blackbird, our gorgeous c1905 church, has been thoughtfully renovated to tick all the boxes for a relaxing getaway. high ceiling rooms and lofts interact to create separate spaces that are still connected. Various areas for family, group planning and activities. several dining areas for different needs; kid's table, working lunch, family dinners, or a party buffet. Whatever has brought you to Blackbird, a girl's getaway, a workplace retreat, strategic planning weekend, reunion or family vacation, or even a motorcycle ride for a weekend, we have you covered. We also offer a dedicated room for all your gear, bikes, skis, etc, so you can rest easy knowing everything is secure. Please have a look at our Insta for videos of the space! Please note, we do try to keep long weekends at a three night min. however, if you have special availability requests please message us! we always are always willing to accommodate. Guest access Crowsnest Pass is growing and evolving into a fabulous little gateway to the mountains. Each town has a selection of restaurants, bakeries, breweries, etc. Our town, Coleman, has everything you need within walking distance. We have dedicated parking, as well as secure motorbike parking inside the fenced area. Other things to note We have tried to accommodate long weekends in our booking calendar, so you will have the opportunity to have the entire weekend to experience the blackbird, however, sometimes the 3 night minimum is confusing, if you have any specific scheduling needs, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you! We love pets and our dog spends lots of time here with us as well! We are happy to have your dog enjoy the blackbird as well, we have blankets, beds and bunch of toys, as well as dog blankets to protect furniture etc. We also provide you with waste bags to clean up after your pet before you leave. As well there is a shower room where dogs can get cleaned up after a muddy walk, and some dog specific towels. We ask that you let us know if you’re bringing your pet beforehand, as we put our pet things away unless we have doggy guests. As well we need to schedule our cleaning with pets in mind. Thank you for helping us keep the option of bring your pet with you available! Pets are 25$ for the first pet, and 30$ per additional pet per stay. at this point Airbnb only lets us add one pet, so Just let us know how many pets you are travelling with and we will send you a money request!
