Escape to the Scotland Highlands of South Africa, with the relaxing sound of trickling water, birds chirping & magical views Kinloch Lodge is perfectly situated 12km outside of Dullstroom & offers 4 self-catering cottages that can host up to 14 guests at a time, along with 6 dams to fish from that stock Rainbow Trout & Bass The 85-hectare property offers lovely lands to hike through while looking for the Nguni Cattle & the hills offer exquisite views for sunrise photographs & sunset sundowners The space This spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage offers an open plan dining and living area with a 8-seater dining table that opens onto a cosy lounge with a lovely large wood burning fireplace. Large glass sliding doors leading from the lounge area open onto a covered patio with a Weber braai and outside dinging table and chairs. Owners, Ian and Sianny, live on the property and have a beautiful large duck-pond in front of their house and Inverness Cottage where the gaggle of Geese mainly congregate. You will be kept company on your walks with our free roaming Chickens, Geese and 3 very friendly kittens - Poppet, Munchkin & Em (please check your cars when leaving as they love to sneak a peek to see what our guests are up to). Kinloch_Lodge_Dullstroom Guest access Guests can walk the property at their own leisure and are given keys and remotes to access the main gate and bottom gate to the dams. Please note that gates are to be closed at all times. Other things to note A 4x4 is a MUST during the rainy months as the roads get incredibly muddy and standard cars might get stuck. Phone signal is intermittent on the farm and surrounding areas.
