Located on beautiful Horseshoe lake, this house is perfect for a weekend getaway or a week’s stay. Surrounded by nature, you can enjoy the peace that comes from being on the water. Relax on the deck or out by the fire pit, go for a nature walk, swim, kayak, or fish in the trout stocked lake. Inside you can enjoy the game room playing foosball, air hockey, darts or a variety of board games/puzzles. There’s also a theater room where you can recline and watch your favorite shows or movies. N2 Lake House offers thoughtful amenities in a modern-rustic, nature-inspired setting. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A spacious open room is where you’ll find the living room and dining room along with a fireplace to further warm the atmosphere. Downstairs is the theater room, the game room, a kitchenette, a bathroom, and additional sleeping options. There’s another fireplace here to keep things heated up! We provide complimentary snacks, a bottle of wine and sparkling water, popcorn for your movie night, and a s'mores kit for the firepit. If there’s something in particular you need for your stay, please let us know and we can make arrangements. Upper Level - Kitchen: Full size side by side refrigerator and freezer with filtered water and ice maker, electric range, microwave, dishwasher, pots and pans, cooking utensils, pizza cutter, can opener, bottle and wine opener, plates and bowls, kids plates/bowls/cups, mixer, toaster, tupperware, mixing bowls, serving platters, coffee pot, mugs, wine & drinking glasses. Feel free to use whatever you find in the kitchen or refrigerator as guests may leave items for future visitors to enjoy. Dining room area: 10 person dining room table and seating for 4 more at the island. There is a chair booster seat located in the community hall closet if needed. Living room area/reading corner: Large sectional couch with 72” flat screen (sign in with your personal login for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Disney+, etc.), Bose sound bar, fireplace with firewood provided (additional firewood and starter can be purchased and delivered,) famous duck rocker chair with books available for your entertainment (more books located down stairs in the game room) and a cozy 4 person table overlooking the lake. Lower level - Gameroom/kitchenette: We offer foosball, air hockey, hook & ring game, a bistro table for playing games and a bar table, a futon couch which opens to a full size bed. There are board games, playing cards, and books for your enjoyment. You’ll find a full size refrigerator and freezer with ice, a microwave and sink in the kitchenette. Theater Room: We offer seating for 8 (or snuggle up and make it 10!). It is equipped with an 80’ Samsung TV (sign in with your personal login for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Disney+, etc,) Bose surround bar, leather couches with reclining options, a chaise lounge, and a recliner chair all with blankets and side tables for those tasty treats for the full theater experience. Bathroom #3: A 3 ⁄ 4 bath is offered with a walk in shower, wash cloths and special black facial cloths located in cabinets. Outside space - Upper Deck: Fire up the grill and enjoy dinner outside at our 6 person patio set as you take in the lake. There’s also a table for 2 to enjoy a cup of coffee or to use as additional patio seating. Lower Patio: We have 6 lounge chairs with cushions and one egg chair to sit back and catch some rays and relax. The hose is there for rinsing off after a dip in the lake or cleaning off your feet. Outside closet: Here you can find both adult and children life jackets and fishing poles and tackle. Yard: An upper and lower lawn to sprawl out on or play some games. The Lake: Go jump in! Take advantage of being on the water to go for a swim or jump in one of the 4-single kayaks. We provide life jackets and whistles for everyone. Feed the ducks or go fishing on the shared dock. Dock is shared with one adjacent neighbor. Kick back in one of the reclining chairs by the fire for some s'mores and stories to end your evening. Easy check in with keyless entry. The entire home is yours during your stay except the locked storage rooms downstairs and the garage. The large driveway accommodates 3-6 cars, 6 is the maximum allowed on the property. No street parking is available. There are security cameras located at the driveway. For fastest response, the best way to communicate with us is through the Airbnb app or website. We do not live on the property, but are close enough to help with immediate needs. Take advantage of the proximity to hike the Olympic mountains or Mount Rainier, explore the Kitsap Peninsula, or visit Seattle and Tacoma. Locally, the quaint fishing town of Gig Harbor offers spectacular views of Mount Rainier, wonderful boutiques, plenty of dining options and trending breweries. And if golf is your game, play one of the many local courses within a 30 minutes radius including nationally renowned Chambers Bay & Gold Mountain. We are a great choice for extended work-or-learn from home situations with wifi and lake life activities. N2 Lake house is 57 mins to downtown Seattle, 47 mins from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, and 29 mins to Ruston Way Tacoma. By car or Uber/Lift/taxi. We are close to nature here in the Pacific NorthWest. Please be aware that guests may run into birds, lake animals (geese, otters, ducks), local wildlife such as deer and rabbits, bugs (spiders, slugs, ants, moths, etc) around the property. Please note the cleaning fee covers: laundering all used bedding and making beds for next guests, cleaning & sanitizing high touch surfaces (bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, common areas, etc), laundering towels and refilling consumables and resetting the house back to its original presentation. The cleaning fee does not cover picking up trash left throughout the house or cleaning up major messes/stains/spills resulting from human/animal bodily fluids, food, and personal effects left behind. An additional charge up to $200 may result should guests choose to incur them. Garbage and/or recycling comes on Mondays before 8am. You may hear their arrival.
